All in all this is probably one of the more home-like places to go and get some good food. I was welcomed with a smiling face and a great conversation. I personally got the Cheesesteak with a side of greens and spaghetti, and ouuuuuweee let me tell you they did not disappoint and they weren’t stingy with the portions. I will mention that they add sugar in the spaghetti (which I love personally but I know is not everyone’s cup of tea).
I’d recommend this place to my friends and family without second question, so stop reading and go get you some !!

I had the Italian Beef and my son had the Cheesesteak. Both items were delicious. The gentleman at the counter was helpful and polite. An overall great experience.

Order the Jerk Chicken Tacos, Cheesesteak, and Green Apple Ice Cream.

Everything is house made and fresh. Very delicious. I got the raspberry chunk ice cream togo it's now my new favorite ice cream.

Had the Philly. Came with two sides of Spaghetti and Green Beans. Everything was amazing! We were offered a free cinnamon roll and cinnamon sugar almonds. Will definitely come back.

Food tasted disgusting. Food was brought out in intervals. Three of us finished our dinner before the forth got her fried rice, and it didn’t even taste like fried rice.

Italian Beef had to many fillers in it.
Mac an cheese was mushy

Never go there again.

Milkshake was not thick at all ...very watery more like milk and protein powder..not the worst flavor but for the price of 7$ I want a thick shake

I got the Italian Beef sandwich which was good, and some street corn that was phenomenal. They also have some vegan options which is nice, as well as milkshakes that come in a bunch of different flavors. Definitely a local place worth checking out. I'll be back.

What is better than home cooked? They believe in flavor here. I have tried most of the food menu and loved everything so far. The momma drinks are awesome and the ice cream hasn’t disappointed. I recommend them and I am a regular.

Wasn't really looking for a restaurant that specializes in home cooking/comfort food, but this one popped up online in Fairview Heights Illinois. Looked promising so I found it and decided to give it a chance. OMG!! Walking in the door, the 1st thing to hit me was a smell of deliciousness ?, the owners met me and we introduced ourselves, got the story of who they are and what they want to do here. (Did I mention the awesome smell?), I am impressed by their vision and plans for this place. So many things to be offered to the customers on a rotating basis. I simply ordered an Italian beef sandwich and some fried rice. Mild Giardinara on the beef, mind you, they do NOT advertise this as a Chicago Italian beef, so the Giardinara was a pleasant surprise! Anyway, a short wait and my to go order was ready. The smell is fantastic!! When I opened it at home, still hot and fresh! I barely remember what happened to the sandwich, it was gone!! And the Fried Rice is amazing! Not greasy, light and full of flavor, no soy sauce needed! I'll be broke before I know it eating here! The prices are not high at all and it's sooo good ?

Pleasant experience in a small new restaurant. I had the jerk tacos with potato salad; the tacos had spice to them, but not overbearingly so. The manager/owner was very friendly, and while I did not get to see other staff, their work was well done. Their claim of 40+ flavors for ice cream/shakes isn't hyperbole, as they truly do have that many on offer. I tried the watermelon shake, and was surprised it actually tasted like watermelon!

As a new business, I hope to see them succeed.

The restaurant we had planned to go to was packed so we decided to look elsewhere. We stumbled into Mama's House and wow am I glad we did. They were already starting to shut down for the day but after we told them we were looking for dinner they didn't hesitate to whip up meal for us. We had the Jamaican jerk tacos and they were absolutely amazing! If you are looking for a great new restaurant to try, I highly recommend Momma's House!!
