I love going to The Lantern because of their delicious food, friendly staff, and cozy atmosphere! The seasonal menu changes keep things fresh, although it’s great that they keep certain items on the menu all year. I am always warmly greeted each time I walk through the door, the portions are very generous, and Adam (the chef/owner) is always so nice about coming out of the kitchen to make sure we are enjoying the food that day. This is definitely my “go to” lunch spot during the work week!
Adam is phenomenal in the kitchen! Tonia and their girls work front of the house. Everything that Adam makes he puts such thought into. If you ever get the chance to take one of his cooking classes: do it!!!
Without a doubt the best biscuit and gravy I’ve ever had! We will definitely be back.
Best biscuits and gravy ever!
Stopped in for lunch during a road trip. Super great place!
Staff were very friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Food was also tasty and filling for a reasonable price.
Would recommend to anyone passing through :)
on our way to Softball tournament and looked for mom n pop breakfast/brunch places and happened across the Lantern BLE, we had peaches and cream french toast, biscuits and gravy, and build your own breakfast sandwich. everything delicious. Real cool little restaurant!
I LOVE this place!! The atmosphere of this establishment with its soft background music wipes any stress you had before walking in away. And the FOOD! God, this café has THE best eggs, biscuits and pork gravy is a MUST to try! Oh my god, the COFFEE!! I am not exaggerating when I say that the food here is absolutely immaculate. I would come here for breakfast over iHop or Denny’s anyday! :)
First time here, everything was great. I had the BLT and lantern fries. Very friendly place.
We stopped in for breakfast. All the food was exceptional! Even the standard over-easy egg had a lot of flavor. The homemade quality and flavors of the blueberry compote and the biscuits and gravy could not be beat.
If you've got a little time to stop in, I can't recommend The Lantern highly enough.
This is a very cute restaurant. The owner is the chef and the food was very good. Biscuits and gravy were a little spicy, but very good. I had a breakfast sandwich, create your own. The breakfast aioli made it all that much better! Been thru Lebanon many times but first time here. Will make a point to stop here again.

Nice spot on an adorable small town Main Street. I had the corned beef sandwich with fried apples, which were excellent.

I do not recommend this establishment. When arriving there were four open tables. I asked for a low top because I was going to have two children with us. After starting to clean off the table the waitress came back with the manager telling me there would be a 45 minute wait. After they realized I was okay with that they then named off two different establishments that were open that we could go to. Mind you, my daughter was being very well behaved and not causing any scene. I’ve never been denied service due to having my child. Very unprofessional.
Went in on a Sat morning at 10:40, ordered and at 11:23 we got our food. One table was a head of us. There was only 2 of us and restaurant was not busy. After waiting a half hour I asked how much longer it would be. The lady checked and said that he just started our order. We received our order 13 min later. Food was ok but definitely not worth the 45 min wait or $30.00. Waitress did not ck on us at all. Bathroom was not clean either. They need to work on their customer service.
