Superb experience - not to get too booji on you, but I was fortunate enough to spend a semester in Rome many years ago.
Andy's food and service were a perfect call back to that simpler and more charming time when the proprietor would serve you personally, share friendly banter, and make perfect recommendations.
This is a must visit and we will definitely be back!

Absolutely phenomenal experience! The food was authentic and bursting with flavor. Coming from an Italian family, I know good Italian food. This felt like and tasted like home made food. The service was impeccable; the staff was attentive, friendly, and made us feel like family. The owner went above and beyond to make sure our dining experience was perfect. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with just the right mix of elegance and comfort. This felt like an old school neighborhood spot which you don’t find anymore. From start to finish, it was a perfect dining experience. Highly recommend this gem for anyone looking for amazing Italian cuisine!
Overall disappointed. Ordered door dash from here after reading positive reviews. This is supposed to be chicken fettuccini Alfredo. The green noodles were not what I chose—wasn’t even given a choice—and I wouldn’t have chosen it due to dietary issues. I even called to question this to see if it was normal and they didn’t seem to care. The pasta didn’t taste great and were not appealing to the eye. Chicken was interesting. Lots of gristle. Not what I was expecting

What a wonderful, cozy spot to have one of the best Italian meals I have ever had. From the minute you walk in the owner makes you feel very much at home. The food is simply some of the best I’ve ever had and the menu has something for everyone. They were able to put some tables together for our party of 6. It is one of if not the best restaurant in Lemont and there is no need to travel downtown for amazing Italian food anymore. Thank you to the owner for a wonderful meal/time. P.s. the gnocchi is out of this world.

Our book club had our 1st annual Christmas dinner at Capri Xpress. Everything was perfect! Food was delicious and service was great. Andy went out of his way to make it a special gathering for us. Have also done carry out many times. Highly recommend dine in or carry out. Talk to Andy or any of his staff……they will take care of you!
I ordered stuffed shelves there and I couldn't eat it. I've eaten this dish many times but the taste in this place was unbearable for me and I didn't eat even half of it. This was my first order in this place and I'm in no hurry to order again.

I recently visited Capri Express and had an exceptional experience. The service was wonderful, with the staff being incredibly friendly and attentive. I tried the fettuccine Alfredo, and it was the best I've ever had! The creamy sauce and perfectly cooked pasta made for an unforgettable meal. Highly recommend!

Everything was outstanding. We introduced a couple of our friends to Capri Express for the first time. Our friend had one of the veal dishes and he said it was THE BEST! meal he has ever had! The owner was there taking care of & making sure that every last detail was absolutely Perfect. We were offered a complimentary glass of wine with dinner. The entire night was perfect The food and service were outstanding and beyond compare. I rate this a 6 out of 5 It doesn’t get any better
Dietary restrictions: My wife is a vegetarian and allergic to shellfish. She had a delicious vegetarian dish, they made up special for her and assured us. There would be no cross-contamination of shellfish.
