Purchased a half tray of pasta in vodka sauce for Christmas. I tried to order from Palos heights location but they could not take any more orders. Palos location charges $30 for half tray. They referred me to Lemont. Lemont charged me $90.00 for half tray. Why???? I’ll never order from there again. Food was good

NOTE : don’t be fooled by the phony knock-off Capri Restaurant in Lemont across from the Jewel. This is the real Capri family owned and operated by Andrea Vitello Riviello the youngest son of the infamous family of Capri restaurants located throughout the south side of Chicago. This man used to bus tables at the original Capri in Berwyn back in the 1990’s. A true restauranteur. Over the last 40 years I’ve been frequenting the Riviello restaurants in Berwyn, Burr Ridge, Palos, Willow Springs, and Plainfield and I can tell you that Andrea is the best (il tutti buono). Don’t miss out for a truly intimate traditional Italian experience.
I have been to Capri Express two times this month. It is outstanding. We had such a good time the first time I promised Andy we would come back with my sister and brother-in-law who live in Italy. My brother-in-law is 100% Italian and my sis has lived there for around 40years. They were very skeptical of my praise as they have never had a true Italian tasting item in the US. Needless to say they loved this place and commented it was the best Italian they had eaten in the US and they are huge travelers.Andy is such a great host he anticipates your needs and goes to work before you even know what you need. He treats you like family and the food?. Everything tastes amazing. The calamari we had were the best any of us had ever had. The shrimp salad and meatballs sooooo good! The gnocchi stuffed with ricotta was so good my dad is insisting the next time I go visit him in Indiana I must bring it to him.I will never go to another Italian restaurant than here if I can help it! Bravo!!

What a great place for dinner! This is by far the best Italian restaurant in all of Cook County.The restaurant itself is small and quaint. Andrew, our server, was attentive and very friendly. You'll feel like you're eating at a friend's house. You can bring your own wine in if you want. The food was awesome! Starting with the bread and meatballs to finishing with the cannolis. There were five of us and everything came out hot. The portions were generous, and we all had leftovers.You will look forward to coming back before you even leave.
Hands down the best Italian food that I have been to. Called an order for pickup, and food was fresh, hot and ready in 15 minutes. Absolutely delicious. Service was excellent.

We LOVE Capri Express Lemont! You are welcomed from the moment you walk in the door. Andy and his crew take care of you! Andy makes you feel like your family, from the outstanding service, delicious appetizers, garlic bread, salad, and authentic Italian dishes! Everything that we have had there is delicious! The icing on the cake is lemon cello tiramisu. They created a cozy atmosphere for a smaller space. We can’t wait to come back!
