Visited twice for their bangers and mash, 10/10 food! only place I know of with year-round Magners on tap. It’s a lovely spot to relax with a beer, music gets pretty loud during weekend nights though

It's a bar with an atmosphere, especially on nice days when the open air and outside seating is available. Food seems Irish authentic the location's fantastic being on a corner in Lemont.

My only beef with this place is that after 9 pm they give you a small plastic cup for your Guinness instead of a pint glass. Do they give you a discount because you are getting less beer each time? I don't think so.
Serve Guinness properly, please, especially if you're going to call yourself an Irish pub
Last night I felt like I was gonna pass out. (Nothing to do with Hughies) The bouncer came & helped me out. He walked me out, got me some water & let me breathe out front for a little bit. I didn’t get his name but I just wanted to say thank you man. The people & atmosphere are great here. 👍🏻

Reuben with sweet potatoes fries - fresh, wonderful, stuffed as hell. Smithwicks on draught was cold and crisp. Wonderful service.

This bar is extremely racist and not friendly to anyone under 40. The bouncer came up to me and said racial slurs and asked for my ID, he would not give it back and due to me being scared of the police since I’m a minority..

Had one of the worst meals of my life. Guess it's my fault for ordering curry at an Irish pub, but I thought it would be a pleasant surprise! Take it off the menu, please!

Not your usual Irish sport bar Pub, or was it? Had lunch their on a Thursday in October. Beautiful day, not to hot, not to cold and the Irish Pub was just enough sports bar with its many wall-mounted TV set to sporting events and sport talk shows to be inviting. Had some Irish charm with the seating arrangements and the decor. And the food, enough different to be not-your-typical-sports-bar / not-your-typical-Irish-Pub fare although if that is what you wanted, you would not be disappointed. I think we will need to dine there several more times in order to get a better sense of their Irish-ness.
