Food is excellent as always, service is going down hill and I'm getting less patient with that I guess. We were there over and hour before we were able to give our dinner order.... It was my bday and we had a reservation. It was annoying. They need more staff. I will do pick up for while until things improve

Had to find a place to eat on Valentine's Day last minute and found Kitaro had an open reservation. Was a pleasant surprise to have found it and I highly recommend! Food and service was outstanding.

Went there at 11:30am for lunch with a friend. They were not ready to the public yet. That is when they started cleaning the place - I mean...mopping and soaking the floors. My tuna did not taste fresh - bummer. We were the only ones there and took us 3 hours for a couple of rolls. Staff wasn't around. We ordered tea. It was served in a random merchandise/marketing mug you may have at home - not in a Japanese tea cup. Weird.

Squishy Cascade
Ordered the lunch special, took over an hour from ordering to finishing my meal (there was only 1 other table that arrived after me). The miso was dirty and tasted fishy, the sashimi was rubbery, the shrimp was limp and rubbery, the spicy tuna roll had 0 flavor. Absolute shame, when I ate a few years ago it was a great experience, now it's just awful. They are cutting corners and it shows.

The website says certain items are buy one get one half price on certain days. Ordered online and when I went to pick up, I was told that only applies to phone orders or in-person orders. The website really ought to be updated to include that information.
