The website says certain items are buy one get one half price on certain days. Ordered online and when I went to pick up, I was told that only applies to phone orders or in-person orders. The website really ought to be updated to include that information.

Food was great- ordered a few combos and they were wonderful. Drink menu was fab and the bartender and server deserve some extra credit. Our table was the furthest from the bar and we ordered 2 rounds of martinis. They filled those martinis to the top- and I mean the top. The server walked all the way from the bar (slowly) and did not spill a single drop. We were more than impressed! Love a full martini glass!

Maybe it was because it was New Year's Eve but it took two hours to get our meal. My meal came before my sushi roll. The temperature in the restaurant was freezing. They seem to take care of all of the to go orders instead of prioritizing the patrons in the restaurant.

Aside from the booth seats being pretty ripped up, the atmosphere was nice. The menu itself was...interesting. I'm not sure why so many of their rolls included jalapeño but it just sort of felt like a poor attempt at fusion cuisine, I guess? It was sort of tough to taste the actual fish in the rolls I got too because they absolutely drowned them in sauce.

Poor quality food, no tuna just rice .Sangria with no fruits in it. even on menu describes white sangria garnished with orange , lemon, cherries. Do not recommend

My fiancé and I have been coming here since we moved into the area 2 years ago. I’m not sure if the unfriendly woman with the bob is a manager or owner but she isn’t welcoming, friendly and all around just unpleasant. The food is usually the redeeming factor that keeps us coming back but not after my service on Friday night. I placed a pick up order and was told it would be ready in 35 minutes however I waited an ADDITIONAL 45 minutes in the restaurant. Not once was the unpleasant woman with the bob haircut apologetic or offered quality customer service. She approached me ONCE into the additional 40 minutes waiting that they were finally JUST MAKING my order. When we got home our sushi was terrible quality, finding multiple bones in our sushi rolls to the point where we didn’t even finish our meal. Do yourself the favor and do not come here and just drive the additional time to find a better sushi spot because while this was our first time having a bad experience with the food, it’s consistently a bad experience with the main woman on that staff.

It's like a WHOLE in the Wall! Lol. I enjoyed it here. It's not too bad. I think the sushi tasted good! They don't really have too many vegetarian options, but they use BUTTER instead of Fish oil or any oil for vegetable fried rice! I was so happy about that because it's hard to find places that don't use fish or oyster sauce. I loved that they cut the veggies so finely! The Veggie fried rice was very Bland, but I added some spice, and it tastes so much better. Also, we got cucumber maki, avocado maki, and veggie maki all with cream cheese, and it was delicious!

We will travel 25 mins for the sushi. The service was just ok. They weren’t very busy but we waited a long time for a server to come to the table. The food was amazing. This is the best place to get sushi in the sw suburbs. We enjoyed everything we ordered. The restaurant needs some TLC.

Just wanted to check this place out. We had an incredibly rude hostess/waitress who kept giving my daughter and I dirty looks. It was very awkward as we never have even been there before. The food was overpriced but good. don’t recommend and won’t be back. Probably should of gave them 2 stars

Ordered like 8 rolls of different Sushi. All of them were amazing!! Very delicious and well done Service was phenomenal, our waitress was so nice and she memorized the whole order. Thank you for also being patient with kids. Im excited to come back for more
We, four of us, all thoroughly enjoyed our sushi, service & the ambience at Kitaro Friday evening. Our sushi rolls & our appetizers were delicious. The tuna tower had an abundance of tuna, crab & avocado, the Brussel sprouts were served in a honey, soy marinade yet still were crispy & delicious. Our specialty rolls had a good amount of fish in them and were delicious. Our server was attentive & pleasant. We definitely will be dining there again.
