Do not recommend! We haven’t been here in awhile and will NOT be back. The salad was good. The fried calamari was good. We had a chicken parmesan and a chicken francese. Both were uneventfuI and soggy. I think Joey’s Hot Dogs has better chicken Parmesan. The francese came with a flavorless sauce. It was extremely disappointing. The red sauce that came with the side of pasta was just ordinary. So many other fantastic Italian restaurants to spend your money at.

Good service but very tight and Crowded tables. House salad has me hooked with the raviolis. Chicken Limone was not my favorite compared to others. If you like Loud, and extra dim lighting, this is the place for you. Parking on street is free, but spots hard to find in downtown Lemont area. Be prepared to walk a little to find an open spot. La Dolce Vita (Lemont) is a small location/bar but does take reservations. Meat sauce & house bread very good. It's a Fancy spin off an Olive Garden. Enjoy the Italian wine selections and import beers. Will order chicken parmigiana next time. The cheese Raviolis is probably best around, a very "Light" and "delicate" dish. The side of pasta comes with entrée. Chicken Limone entree with rigatoni meat sauce seen in pic.
Parking: Street parking free. Parking garage unknown at this time, not found last visit downtown Lemont. Street spots few, and hard to find nearby. No valet.

Good food BUT... Got gluten free pasta instead of the normal. They said "there is an upcharge". Typically an upcharge for gluten free is $2.5-$4.
I got the bill and it was $10.50!! Unbelievable. They said "I told you it was an upcharge". I probably won't be back because that is seriously INSANE. No way in hell you need to upcharge that much.

We were here on 10/11 for dinner and dropped almost $250. The food was pretty bad and the atmosphere was loud but even worse was the management/customer service. I was really hoping I could figure out who the owner of the place as so I could have a discussion and avoid writing this review. I want local businesses and employees to thrive. But I couldn't find out who owns it or how to contact them so here is how our night went down:
We get there and order the calamari appetizer, we get it and immediately divide it up on our plates to consume. At first bite, it was obvious it was undercooked- or something. Nobody ate it other than the first bite.
Normally we would just leave it, not eat it and not say anything. The person bussing tables came and took the plates away. The waitress (who was very sweet and kind) came over and asked how everything was, my wife started to gently express the issue with the food and before she could finish the waitress said "it's the calamari right?" She then apologized and said she would speak to the manager about taking it off the bill. We were appreciative of the gesture, especially when she came back a few minutes later and said the manager agreed to take it off the bill.
Dinner comes, none of it was good. The taste was bland. As we were eating dinner, the waitress comes back and tells us that the manager had searched through the trash and said it looked like we ate most of the calamari and decided not to take it off the bill after all (which, again, we didn't even request from them in the first place).
Yes, you read that correctly The MANAGER of this restaurant SEARCHED THROUGH THE TRASH to, I guess, to save.... about $20 on a $250 bill.
Not only that, but she sent the poor, embarrassed waitress to tell us instead of coming to us and telling us herself- cowardice? We paid the bill (tipped the waitress well) and left with most of the food we had ordered still on the table.
Draw your own conclusion, but my advice? Do not eat here. Ever.
I am embarrassed on behalf of the restaurant owners, the waitress and the other decent employees. It's really too bad, we had eaten here before (several years ago, 2017) and we remembered it being a fantastic experience, so we were eager to try it again.

I celebrated the life of two family members with my large family. They were willing to accommodate any requests and be able to serve great filling food.

I will like to recognize this beautiful establishment. It’s a hiding gym not many people know about it but let me tell you this place was amazing from start to finish. I can give them an off stars. Thanks again, Dolche vita for your hospitality on my daughter graduation and the private room

We had my dad's 90th birthday party here. We had the family style meal and the food was excellent. Service was great, the ladies serving us were very attentive to our guests. After the party we had so many compliments from our guests saying how wonderful it was. If you are thinking about having a party
I highly recommend la dolce vita. Thank you to them for making my dad's 90th birthday special. Something he'll always remember.

The atmosphere and server were wonderful, but everything else was awful. The eggplant parmesan was soggy, and the calamari was tough and rubbery. Will not return. Quality has gone way down, unfortunately.
