I'm a Pastry Chef and I have been coming here for years. Wonderful menu opens that are made fresh with high quality ingredients. Breads are made fresh daily, with no added conditioners or chemicals. The staff are so friendly and make the best sandwiches and coffees. I force myself to try something new each time and not I can't decide which sandwich is my favorite. Great caffe to get work done or just stop by for a quick sandwich. 100% need everyone to come try this place.

Good place good variety of pastries, breads and sandwiches. Breakfast sandwiches aren't available past 10:30 during the week. Then all the other lunch sandwiches are just cold but the bread is tasty and soft. Creative sandwiches
On the pastry side ordered an almond croissant it had minimal amount of the actual almond paste which is the best part. Was hoping for a little bit more.
Then ordered a almond paste scone which seemed very creative figuring that the inside of the scone had almond paste actually in it but when I spoke with the lead Baker he just said it's in there somewhere but it's really not where you can actually enjoy the paste itself. The consistency is just a scone itself. That was a bit of a disappointment since the almond paste is always the best part of any pastry.

I am newer to Lemont and well I found not only the hot spot but my favorite place. The atmosphere was very cozy, lots of people rushing out w large bags of goodies and I found the prices for breakfast, lunch and salads to be very fair. For under $7 this is the largest breakfast sami I have seen and the taste, the bread and combination of flavors WOW!!! Highly recommend the Southwest Breakfast Sandwich!

Horrible experience from staff. Very untrained and unprofessional, since when is it ok for staff to yell at customers? I ordered a sandwich said half turkey half ham, guy nods his head and continues making the sandwich, when at register he comes and says ring it up as double meat. I said its not double i ask half of each. They yelled at me saying they dont do that all i asked was why he didnt inform me at the beginning of the line when i ordered he just nodded his head and continued to make my sandwich. At the register i was told i can either take the sandwich or I can leave. He took the sandwich out of my hands and threw it out. I couldn’t believe what happened. Difficult when staff barley speaks English, they shouldn’t be dealing with customers who dont speak spanish

I had a very frustrating experience during my recent visit. The staff seemed quite inexperienced and lacked basic customer service skills. Most of them appeared to be very young and unsure of what they were doing, which led to a lot of confusion.
They barely communicated — speaking in one-word answers and not loud enough for customers to even hear or understand. It was difficult to get clear information or any real help. Good customer service is about clear communication and a friendly attitude, and unfortunately, that was missing here.
I hope management provides proper training so that customers don’t leave feeling as frustrated and confused as I did.
Also, the gluten-free bread is awful. It is sweet and falls apart. You can't even pick it up. It fell apart two times I got it from here while they were making it and they just like did not even replace. Gave me a broken falling apart bread sandwich. I personally do not recommend gluten free option..

We stopped here on a whim and absolutely loved it. Some of the best bread for sandwiches I have ever had. Crusty and soft at the same time. Both sandwiches we had were great and the price was right. Highly recommend.
They are pretty consistent in all categories. Their food could use a very small push for flavor. The service is wonderful. Sometimes they run out of seats ... another words they are popular. I enjoy going back for coffee and a bite.

I was very disappointed with this place. First time going, in hopes to see the pastries as shown as the pictures but it was only muffins and croissants. Where is the rest of the pastries? They open at 8am and it was only 9am but had barely anything. I also felt very rushed trying to order. Clearly this place has changed, delete old photos if you don’t sell those items anymore.
