This place has become our favorite to eat at every time we come to Lewistown. Steak can be hit or miss at most places, but not at La Fogata, it is always awesome. Whether you're looking for margaritas or michelatas, or bringing some hungry kids in there, Miguel will make sure you are leaving happy and full. They have a large menu and lots of space for the dinner rush.

I'm local and can't believe I haven't rated La Fogata before now. The food is excellent, the staff is probably the friendliest I've ever encountered and the restaurant itself is extremely clean. Honestly, I can't say enough good things about LA Fogata.

La Fogata is not the run-of-the-mill cookie cutter Mexican joint usually found in Central Illinois. The food is tasty and the staff are friendly. They also host fundraisers for activities in our community.
