The food was good. Unfortunately, the experience was let down by disorganized service and staff attitude that didn’t match the high price point.

Ordered a toasted sesame bagel with scrambled eggs and bacon. Unfortunately this was extremely bland. The thinnest egg I have ever seen. I wouldn’t even call it scrambled as it was a single thin egg pancake. The bacon was alright but not enough flavor to make up for how bland this was. The bagel itself is fine but for $8.50? A single thin egg and two small strips of bacon? I can make this at home. Lesson learned.

Tried the Greek Freak. Pretty good. The restaurant was loud, and it was hard to have a conversation, but it was lunchtime. The place was busy.

Went this morning for the first time and ordered the everything bacon & egg bagel. We thought the everything bagel tasted very bland like it was missing something. The egg and bacon in it was really good. The service and atmosphere is inviting but the bagel was bland. Their biscuits looked awesome and will go back to try them.

Wait, what? I haven't already done a review for Bagels By the Book?!
I only order breakfast for my family at least once a week from there. For well over a year now... Such a large selection of bagels and so many cream cheeses to choose from.

Oct 2024 I told them I was going to have surgery and wouldn't be able to pickup breakfast for 6 weeks and that it was me not them, Dan reminded me that I could order delivery, so I did. And these people wrote a get well soon message on the bag.
Between getting my family's very specific and picky orders right and knowing my name when I walk in, I'm a fan for life.

We've only ordered takeout but Bagels by the Book is one of our favorites! My kids ask for it by name. My 8 year old loves their lox cream cheese, and my picky 4 year old ate her whole bagel which is really saying something. We usually order an assortment of bagels and cream cheese and it's always so delicious and great quality.

I've been here three times in the past year and have been wowed each time. The employees are always nice and accommodating. The food is perfect each time, the bathrooms and restaurant itself are very clean, and the space is welcoming! That's saying a lot from someone who worked in a lot of restaurants over the years and can easily spot issues. Bagels are chewy, thaw nicely after being in my freezer for a bit, and make excellent sandwiches. Thank you for the Windex and cleaning up my water bottle catastrophe ;)

All I'd say negative is that the strawberry bagels don't taste at all like strawberry but other than that this is one of the only places near here to find salt bagels and the bagel quality is good. Gotten a few dozen bagels here and have not been disappointed
