Their flexibility, understanding, and easy-going nature took so much stress out of the planning process. They truly went above and beyond to make everything perfect.
The food was nothing short of amazing! Every dish was crafted with care and attention to detail, leaving our guests raving. And as a perfect ending to the night, they served roast beef sandwiches that were hands down the best! Choosing Bauer's Catering was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Highly, highly recommend them for any special event!

Had a family party in Libertyville 21 adults and 14 kids. Mary and Eddie did a great job coming up with menu options. Ended up going with beef tenderloin tips, chicken strips, mashed potatoes, glazed carrots, rolls and fruit salad. Arrived on time (15 mins early), food was excellent, set up professionally and really complimented the family party to make it easy. Would highly recommend and use again in the future.

We had a reservation for 6. The service was not great. We waited for well over an hour after ordering to get dinner. The waitress told us no less than 3 times our horderves would be right out (1 order of poutine) took over 25 mins. We finally asked another server to get us another drink which we asked for and never got. The food was nothing special. Very disappointed after all the great reviews. Save your $$$.

Bauer's Catering truly went above and beyond for our wedding at Cuneo Mansion. They worked with us very closely to make sure the food package was exactly what we wanted and acknowledged that we had some dietary restrictions for some guests which was not a problem for them. Throughout the entire process Bauer's made us feel like we were family.On the wedding night, the appetizers and dinners were phenomenal. Normally when you go to a wedding, you don't really remember the food. We STILL have guests talking about how great the food was. Bauer's even helped us get fresh donuts for a donut wall we had on display. Thank you again for an excellent experience and professional service!

Bauer's was incredible to work with. Family owned, and we were well taken care of during the entire process. Not only was the food AMAZING, but they also provided us with many things for the reception set up (card holder, beautiful cake stand).
They were extremely professional and clearly know what they are doing from all their years of service.
Mary was available for every phone call, text, email to discuss details and answer questions. She even contacted a vendor for us when we could not reach them. Eddie prepared the food perfectly and everything from appetizers to entrees was delicious and had our guests all talking about the food.

I have known the Bauer family since 1991 when Eddie opened Bauer's on the Bay, which was one of the best restaurants/ bar around!!! Food was always delicious, service amazing n the family made u feel like you were part of their family!!! Over the years have attended many events handled by Eddie Jr. from lake county Fair up to 5 star elite weddings n everything in between!!! Each and every time was in absolute awe , they do such an amazing job I wouldn't trust anyone but the Bauers to handle my events!!!
