Extremily expensive considering the portion sizes are small and the food doesn't have flavor.. they charged me $8 per small salsa not to mention the salsa was not spicy at all.. we ordered two Lbs of carnitas, 3 carnita tacos, a side of beans, 8 salsas, and 4 jaritos which costed $129.. Ridiculous.

The tacos al pastor were some of the best tacos I've ever had in my life.

Staff very careful and respectful for vegetarian. Very good margaritas mix.
Delicious freshly fried tortilla chips and salsa and drink makes it worth visiting, anytime.

I thought the food was very good. The service was excellent; we were seated right away and the waitress was right there to get our drinks and appetizer order. She checked in regularly and brought drinks and chip refills with no wait at all. We even ordered dessert which is rare because you usually get full but is fun to do anyway. Dessert was really good too!

After a recent snafu with Door Dash, the folks at Casa Bonita were very understanding and accommodating and made things right. I didn’t catch the name of the hostess but she was very kind and professional, and expedited our re-order. I would recommend Casa Bonita to anyone, whether dining at the restaurant or picking up an order for home.

We went here a few months ago couldn't say any thing negative. The only thing I can say now it was a little different. I had the al pastor and the meat eat ok. And I thought the beans and rice could have used more flavor. We love it there, the service is fast, which was great .

Food is good but the portions are way too small for the prices. Plus they charge a 3% “hospitality” fee that most people probably don’t request to be removed because it’s only a few dollars, but it adds up. The meat portion in the fajitas is a joke. Can go to many other places nearby for same price but larger portions that are just as good. If you’re going to keep prices that high, add more meat before people stop coming!
Decent place but very expensive for what it is. At the price point, there are other places in Libertyville I would choose next time.
The food is standard suburban Mexican, not really authentic but better than a chain. The mojitos were a standout while the margaritas seemed like a basic mix and were $45 for a pitcher which is $7-8 more than most other places.
Overall, if you’re in Libertyville and Mexican is the only thing you want, this will serve. But be prepared to spend $175+ for 3 people to eat and have a couple drinks.
