We had the worst experience in libertyville chipotle . Date Aug 16th 2025

We had ordered catering service, and the lady when we went to pickup, did not respond for almost 10 minutes, when we said excuse me she was so rude staring at us and said just wait .
And then when she handed over the order to us we asked whether we can get some extra hot sauce she blantly said no and said we will have to buy it and we were ready to offer and then she said you have to go to a grocery store and not here in such a rude way. We were completely taken a back and stunned, it took us a while to grasp all this. The worst service ever!! We spent 250$ there and I have never felt this way ever at a restaurant!!!

Good service and food portions! Unlike some other locations they had good ice tea and lemonade selection! Place was pretty clean too.

Went there on a saturday. Had the rudest encounter with the “manager”. She had her nose in the air while checking us out. All the employees were rude and very stingy with the portions for the price. Safe to say I will never return to this chipotle again purely because of the attitudes I received.

Card reader was down, had to wait, manager eventually had me check out at a terminal behind the normal terminal, they didn’t notice that the transaction did not fully go through and sent me on my way, then while eating, face full of burrito with my girlfriend and they come to tell me they need another $5 from me.
Very unprofessional and embarrassing experience.

This location out of all the ones I’ve ever been to gives the least amount of food. Employees act like a sprinkle of cheese will come out of their paycheck. If you ask for more you get a dirty look and attitude. I will gladly pay for extra, no need for all the drama. I can walk to this location, but I would rather drive to a different one.

This place is notorious for skimping on the amount of meat served.(even after asking) I would suggest going to a different chipotle

Taste- not at all up to the mark, the food had many small vertical wooden pieces/ strands which got stuck when chewing.
The packaging is horrible as shown, the rice got stuck on the base which is very sticky and irritating especially to eat while traveling.

Avoid this location. Workers are definitely not in a hurry to serve anyone. Seems like they just wanna stand around. Only had 2 people in front of me and was waiting for over 10 minutes. Had to walk out because it would've been another 10 minutes just to be taken care of

I came and placed the order Friday March 28 and I found a hair in my chips a sticker in my guacamole small portions in my bowl with brown guacamole. I’ve tried calling the store and texting through the chat bot In the app and I even tried going up to the store just to find out their manager wasn’t there. I would happily love a refund for my order.

Worst customer service i've ever experienced.

Edit: Tried to give this location another shot several years after the first review, was given half portions on two items and the employees refused to correct their mistake and refused to refund. I’d give zero stars if possible.
