Dangela's Dumplings

We were in Chicago for a visit from Texas and I decided I was really craving dumplings. I googled dumplings and Dangelas popped up. Reviews were amazing so we put it in the GPS and off we went. We arrived 30 minutes before closing but it didn’t matter. The best dumplings I’ve ever had. I wish I didn’t live so far away because I would be there at least once a week!

Amazing food! The dumplings are freshly made to order, and they serve tea and other appetizers along with the main course. I personally love the beef/onion dumplings. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Pure dumpling restaurant! Wow, who knew a plate of a dozen dumplings could fill you up so much. With many dumpling options you can choose between the fillings of: chicken, pork, shrimp, or corn (vegan). I would recommend the chicken and to go steamed! Unless you like fried dumplings, I thought the steamed ones tasted very yummy!

The dumplings were okay, I feel like the other reviews were a little over the top. The customer service was excellent, however. The dumplings were a good size and had a good portion of fillings, but in terms of the taste, nothing out of the ordinary.

My girlfriend and I found this place randomly trying to find something to eat in LibertyVille. OMG!!! The best dumplings I’ve ever had… I’ve been to china town in Chicago several times… and I’ve wasted numerous trips when the world’s best dumplings in my backyard. 100/10 you must try it and the owner and staff are so nice.

Owner was super friendly, the food made fresh and was very tasty and flavorful. Owner pleasant personality and she came out to talk to us and recognized us from previous visit. Quality place!

I’ve been to a LOT of dumpling places from coast to coast. I’d say this one gives me all the vibes of a home made dumpling. The filling taste amazing (just about right amount of flavor) and the skin is tender! The dipping sauce is has pepper corn powder that gives another layer of flavor👍

I’m a big fan of the dumplings here, but honestly, it feels a little pricey for what you get.

Very tasty and never disappoints

We come far out of our way to devour Dangela’s Dumplings and we will continue to do so many, many times. Their dumplings are soooo juicy and flavorful. Workers always have a smile and are happy to explain and answer questions. Please check this place out, you won’t regret it!!
