Nice little spot for very authentic Mexican food. I had a combination plate that included a Carne Asada, enchilada, Chile, and corn. Everything was good, but the steak was not well seasoned, and the corn was not hot. All had good flavors, though. The service was good, and even though the dining area was small, we were seated immediately. The highlight of the meal was the margarita! Good selection and super tasty!

Easily the best Mexican food you'll find. If you're going somewhere else then you're doing it wrong. The freshest food possible. Awesome atmosphere and excellent service. Amended on 8/19/2023. We went on a Saturday night when it was completely packed. We literally got the last table. The service was still awesome and we got our food as quickly as if they had been slow.

Our favorite place for Mexican food in the area by far. Everything is delicious! The staff is so friendly and the order is always correct. Highly Recommend!

Good service, great atmosphere, great ownership and managers, and decent food. The food could be a lot better. The meat is dry sometimes. Prices are pretty reasonable.

Was rushed through an uneventfulmeal with small portions and ridiculouslybad service.I ordered tacos and guacamole. The womanbrought two salsas and ignored my request fora third. I was hungry and the chips were staleand oily. Here we go... the check was $55 (!!!).This is a very mediocre strip mall restaurant withsmall portions and zero ambience. If it weren'tfor capsaicin (hot peppers) there would be no flavor.I complained...she insisted guacamole way $26.Wow...for twenty six bucks where are the mariachiand why isn't it made table side. A half hour later I was yelled at by the waitress for talking about this to theother table (!). The manager showed up finally and took ten bucks off the bill...no apologies. I left hungry and went to eat at a real restaurant.

Food was pretty good. Better than many others. Plentiful. I had the enchiladas (beef w/ green sauce) and they were freshly made & tasty. My dinner companion had a steak burrito with the guajillo sauce which was very good. The guajillo is a little darker, heavier but tasty. This place is a very solid casual choice. I will definitely go back.

I remember when the strip mall across from Dairy Queen was anchored by Dog Ear and White Hen pantry.Dos Amigos is the latest entry to that famous Rockland road and Milwaukie corner and I hope it outlasts my time in Libertyville. We had them cater my daughters birthday two years in a row.We dine there weekly during the summer when we can walk there and eat outside because in winter we're homebodies. The food is delicious and always served warm and scrumptious. I've tried the fajitas, the tacos, and a range of other items off the entree menu, all memorable and tasty. I'm eager to go back and try more.Silvia is a gem of a waitress. The owner / Manager is kind and welcoming. The smiling water and bus boy guy is genuine and earnest with a smile that makes you feel at home.We love Dos. We can't stop going back and we're fully intending on inflicting their spectacular food on our closest friends and families again for another year at our daughters birthday.

We have driven by this restaurant so many times without noticing it. This hidden gem is hiding in plain sight. Surprisingly large dining area and super friendly staff. The food is authentic and plentiful. I made two meals out of my 4-taco plate which by the way had the following tacos: shrimp, fish, steak and chicken barbacoa. The quality was excellent.Kid-friendliness: Lots of families.

People you gotta try this place.First off the food is great. No fat and gristle on the skirt steak and fajitas. Quality ingredients throughout. And actually very decently priced considering the high cost of everything nowadays. They've managed to keep it affordable without sacrificing quality.Next off the service is second to none. The owner I'm guessing (gentleman with glasses) is probably the nicest and most decent proprietor of a restaurant establishment I've ever visited. That alone is worth coming back again and again. You just dont find restaurant owners who care this much about their customers' satisfaction as they do. So apologetic for something that wasn't even his fault it was mine. I placed items online in my basket last night from yesterday's menu that weren't available on today's menu. I simply got up today and pressed "checkout" and was charged. Totally my own fault for not refreshing the menu to reflect today's options. He called immediately and when we arrived to pick up our food, he had cash in an envelope stapled to my receipt and acted like the whole thing was his fault. When have you ever encountered such amazing customer service??? I never have. Getting money back for something is usually like pulling teeth. I almost felt like crying because the gentleman was so sweet and apologetic while shaking my hand.Providing that kind of service while still serving quality food at a decent price is a complete win win across the board. My new "go to" place for Mexican food. I don't think I'll bring my business to any other Mexican food establishment in the area ever again.Parking: Should have no trouble finding parking.

Wonderful local restaurant with delicious food and super friendly service. Dos Amigos is the best Mexican restaurant in the area. I highly recommend the torta and my husband loves the royal burrito.

Ordered the Clasico Steak Burrito with rice and beans. The burrito was flavorful while the rice was more on the bland side.Beans that were included were more of a bean dip than the normal bean paste that would normally come with it.Service and atmosphere were beyond amazing though. Extremely kind, funny and attentive. Would return again.

Friendliest service, great tasting food. Like eating at a friend's home. The vegetarian taco and chicken mole are among our favorites, as well as all the homemade salsas. I love supporting this local business!
