Fantastic meeting place! The atmosphere is great, amazing food but parking an issue. 10 minutes over the 1 hour parking and an instant ticket. Really unfortunate that I won't likely return.

Been coming here for 20+ years. Never disappoints! I had a cheeseburger w/the 2yr aged cheddar and applewood smoked bacon. My companion had the salmon sandwich. We both tried new beverages as they have such an amazing selection of different and more obscure selections! Belllchhhhhh!!!

My experience at Firken was disappointing as we were rudely asked to leave upon entering with our large group as part of a bar crawl, no one was obnoxious and the restaurant was nearly empty. The abrupt dismissal left a negative impression, and the staff seemed indifferent to our inconvenience. Such a poor welcome overshadowed any potential positives the restaurant might have offered. I expected better hospitality, and unfortunately, Firken failed to deliver on that front.

Went to dinner at Firkin for the first time in a long time. Very disappointing. Menu has changed for the worse. Very complicated beer and cocktail menu. Prices have skyrocketed, but that’s to be expected in downtown Libertyville so no big deal. Food was, in a word, awful. And place was largely dead on a Friday evening. Won’t be going back anytime soon. Used to really like this place.

Good joint... we went on a weekday evening so it was a fairly quiet evening especially because it was cold... we were able to linger and chat which was lovely Good food!
