Had the 10oz New York strip. Seasoned and cooked perfectly. Garlic mashed potatoes were phenomenal

Everything we had was cooked perfectly. The portions were huge. The staff was super friendly. I will be telling everyone I know about this gem. Btw I highly recommend the pork chop. It was not dry at all. It was actually one of the best pork chops ive ever had. Also the lamb chop appetizer is fire

Front desk lady was not friendly at all. Wouldn’t let us sit when I had my elderly grandpa was sitting in his walker. I understand it’s a steakhouse, but IT WAS EMPTY IN THERE. Food was so mid. Nothing was seasoned. Our waiter was kind. They also almost threw out our leftovers that we forget for like 3 minutes after we left the table. Just not super considerate.

The food was good. Our waitress had little to no personality and was not completely educated with how the party menu worked, it seemed.

Guest in the reserved room in the back for a private event. We were visiting from out of town. Beef stir-fry was my favorite, it complimented the mashed potatoes that were a bit underseasoned. Chicken was good but slightly dry, and I appreciate house made salad dressings but struggled to figure out what the pink one was. Pasta was the weakest as it was bland.
The real struggle here is we felt very rushed, we kept asking our family member that made the reservation if we needed to be out at a certain time and she reassured us no. However, they were literally taking plates and utensils from people actively still eating. I understand perhaps they were understaffed (the gal handling the cake was trying to protect it from kids while still trying to get forks etc), however my father-in-law had his knife taken while he was putting butter on his bread and my sister-in-law had a full plate of food, actively chewing with bread in her hand and they reached over me to take her plate. I don't know if it wasn't communicated that our large party had to be out at a certain time or we were being rushed due to lack of staff to manage our private event and the restaurant. The food was ok, but please have a little more consideration. I wouldn't book a large party here.

Great fun, perfect neighborhood bar. Felt like Cheers in Libertyville. Great sounds and laughs....caught a game while we had an early dinner. Great burger!

Everything was absolutely delicious and the service was very friendly. The spinach artichoke dip we had as an appetizer was perfectly balanced and a great way to start the meal. The steak and grilled chicken were cooked to perfection.

Everything was perfect – from the steak and chicken being cooked just right to the tasty sides. I’ve tried a lot of steakhouses recently, but this is the only one that got the doneness exactly the way I like it. The seasoning was spot on, and it was such a great experience. I’ll definitely be back!

We’ve been here numerous times over the years for many different occasions and NEVER have been disappointed!!
My favorite:
Chop Chop Grecian lamb/pork chop, medium rare, garlic mashed potatoes, and their Wedge Salad, paired with Pinot Grigio white wine and a glass of water. NO WAY you’d be disappointed.

So many restaurants are awful these days, so going here was a real treat.

Amazing food, professional & kind staff. Thank you for a great dinner!!! A true restaurant experience. They have everything: espresso, wood fired oven, chef, host, desserts, all the drinks and wines, you name it.

Disappointing overall. Ordered a NY Strip (only available as a 14oz for $50) which included one side of potatoes and a soup or salad.

Service was generally fine, but our server was unable to tell me what was in the house salad when I asked; he said he didn't know, then corrected himself and said it contained only lettuce and radishes. Since that sounded like a bad salad, I elected to skip it.

The mashed potatoes had the texture and taste of premade boxed mashed potatoes. The garlic mashed potatoes were additionally weirdly sweet.

The steak itself was solidly medium, and appeared to have been frozen. It tasted fine, but I've had significantly better food at Texas Roadhouse for half the price.

I've been told by locals that Jimmy's is a staple, so either they were having a bad day today or quality has declined severely.
