By far my worst McDonalds experience. I was beyond disappointed with the service provided to me at my visit, and I can guarantee I will not be returning, Having already eaten, my friends and I opted to order a small meal of 4pcs without fries or a soda; instead, we asked for 3 cups of water to wash our food down with. The ginger-haired woman at the counter fixed us with a glare so full of suspicion and distaste that I can only imagine it’s due to my racial background as a half-black, half-Indian mixed woman. She went around to the back to get three cups of ‘water’ for us. In actuality, she got us three cups of what was essentially 90% ice. Disappointed with the saturation of ice in my drink, I dumped it out into the drain by the soda fountain and returned to my seat. Upon returning, I was accosted by the same employee as before. She accused us of stealing soda from the fountain, claiming that we ‘just didn’t want to pay.’ This accusation was completely baseless- as a reminder, I hadn’t even refilled my drink at the fountain at all, much less with soda! I showed her my empty cup and she continued to harp at us regardless, accusing all three of us before storming back to the counter. It soured the entire evening for us, our Chicken McNuggets tasting tainted with the bitter sting of racial inequity. Food was good 2 stars
