I loved Oscar Lee Barbecue so gosh darn much! This restaurant brought me so much joy when it was open. I loved the OLB Cubano, and the Saturday Night Burger was always delicious. Unfortunately, it’s temporarily closed down, but if you want delicious meats go to its incredible counterpart and original restaurant Milwaukee Taco, which is still open during the pandemic with social distance procedures.

Also, the food they prepare is great. I visited many times and I was always satisfied. The expense is fair. I suggest this place to to all.

I'll give this place 4.5 stars. Decent price for the amount of food provided (large shack of the rib tips), nice sauce, good smokiness but not overly smoky, good service, napkins and fork loving placed in the bag.

This has become our go to place during the quarantine, for takeout. The Brisket Bahn Mi sandwiches are great and if you not real hungry, can serve two. The sandwich is bursting with flavor. Have also enjoyed the Friday fish fry. Fees and lightly battered... delicious! Pick up service could not be more convenient! Visit this place and support all of our local businesses.

Drove down from Lake Villa. The phone say open at 11am. The sign on the door says open at 3pm. The guy on the phone says open at 430. Maybe you change the hours on your machine and the door and your website. I ate bbq in Mundelein instead.

really enjoyed both ribs and brisket. both were moist, tender and very tasty. sides size are generous. Cole slaw was very good. want to try their beef fat fries next visit. sound delicious.

We went here out of curiosity because it's only 15 minutes from the house and we love BBQ. We got the ribs, brisket, hot links, and mac and cheese. The food tasted like exactly what I picked, 2 out of 5 stars. The brisket was dry and the ribs and hot links just weren't that good. The Mac and cheese was okay, but nothing great. Don't waste your money. Just go to Big Ed's in Waukegan which is amazing BBQ- they regularly sell out of things- and black-owned.
