Service was very good until they got busy, then it tapered off. Pizza took a little long and wasn't quite hot when we got it so I think it had been sitting a minute or two too long. We ordered the Pizza Bianca and they might want to reconsider the cheese mix...this one is on the very salty side, but still good. It is definitely a great place to have in Libertyville!
The food was just awful. I kind of suspected that it might be bad, I mean why would you open a pizza place that didn't serve Chicago pizza. It's kind of who we are. But the pizza was really terrible. In talking with one of the people in my party, it's as if you got a frozen pizza from the grocery store and put it on an open flame. Just terrible. I mean I cannot tell you how really bad it was. I ended up giving my slice to the person who recommended the place as apparently he was down for it. But it wasn't just the pizza. We were offered salad or veg starter. I ordered the roasted broccoli with a side of ranch. 1) Roasted does not mean burnt. 2) I asked for a side of ranch, she didn't bring it, so I asked again. I got a tablespoon of ranch in a dish smaller than a ramekin and was CHARGED for it. That's like a place charging you for ketchup. But that's not the worst of it. They actually charged $3.50 because someone asked for a slice of lime. Kid you NOT. I brought them a party of 20 and they charged us for a slice of lime. I have the receipt. I spoke to the server and she just shrugged. She wasn't good, but it's not really her. It's just a terrible restaurant. I have a meeting around the corner from there every Monday night and thought it was odd that we never went there after. Now I know. Big mistake
This was our first time dining at Deville.I made a reservation, and when we got there, the host explained that they seat by server rotation, and they asked if it would be ok if we sat downstairs. They upstairs was very bright and busy with lots of natural light, but we had never been there so we didn't know that the downstairs atmosphere was completely different. The downstairs was empty with no windows and old tools on the wall. We assumed other people would be seated downstairs, but no one else came down. It was also very noisy because it was a large, empty room and anytime people moved tables or chairs upstairs, it created very loud sounds downstairs. Our server, Eric was amazing and took good care of us. But when we left and saw all the empty tables upstairs after we were seated down in an empty basement by ourselves, I was very disappointed. We enjoyed our food, but I'm not sure we'll go back. What was the advantage of making a reservation when we were stuck in a basement by ourselves? It was just weird.
Absolutely one of the best's pizza place in Libertyville. "Maa Pie" highly recommended if you're vegetarian.
So this restaurant is probably top 3 food experiences of my life. I arrived there with my mom with a big appetite and big expectations reading the reviews. Got 2 appetizers and 2 pizzas and great quality and very vibrant environment. I will be back for sure! Ask for Austin. He's awesome!
Pizzeria DeVille is awesome. Great pizza lunch deal and the staff is so friendly and fast especially Alejandra. She's the best!
Pizza is delicious. Service is top notch... Alejandra is personable, polite, and professional.
My girlfriends and I went on a Tuesday night not knowing it was Bingo night. We had so much fun! Drinks were good, pizza was tasty, good value for the price
Wonderful service by Nico! The pizza was delicious. Love the ambiance. We appreciated that we could make our reservation earlier at the last minute.
The pizza was good, 15 mins for pan and 25 mins for Detroit. Brussel sprouts with bacon were meh. Bruschetta decent. I made a reservation for 15 people months ago though with updating to 10 the day of and still they only had 1 server and 1 cook it seemed. So unfortunately service was slow for our large party.

Great food and service as always! The flatbread is addictive and any style of their pizza is delicious.
My pizza was disappointing, greasier than I expected but the kids enjoyed theirs and the caesar salad was tasty. Service was slow and we were left with empty glasses for a bit and had to flag someone down to ask for refills.
It was a cold night but we were welcomed warmly. Drinks, salad and pizza were delicious and service was great. Love coming here
Timing is everything. Our pizza's were brought to the table, not 60 seconds after our salad.
We had a party of 8 and were put in the basement. It was beyond loud. Deafening. We couldn't hear each other talk because there was a party of 20+ ppl and another table of 16+. I don't know why they put us downstairs when there was plenty of room on thr first floor. I'm friatrated bc it really wasn't that enjoyable. The food is delicious and service was great but if you want a quiet dinner, don't let them sit you downstairs.
