Pizza was excellent - however, no dinner salad option forcing you to spend $14 for an individual size of the specialty salad. Server was no where to be found, no refill of beverages, had to ask the kid with the big hair to find her so we could pay the bill. People seated next to us waited forever for their server to come by for the first time. Will not go back.

As one of the only places in town to offer Detroit style pizza, I was pretty disappointed with this carry out. It was burnt so the cheese was basically non-existent. For $26, I would have expected better.

We came here on Saturday, September 20, 2025, after a very successful charity walk in town. We came here based on a recommendation and that was a very smart decision. They had so many different kinds of pizza and our large group got to try each of them. It was a slow Saturday so we got a lot of personalized focus and attention and I really enjoyed my meal here at Pizzeria DeVille and can’t wait to be back. 5 stars across the board. (Written 10-3-25)

So ordered a caprese salad with our pizza not sure where the pesto was unless they had it drowned in the salad dressing. Don’t order it. If those were heirloom tomatoes then my name is not George. Just kidding about the name but the tomatoes were very old.

I had a really disappointing experience ordering takeout from Pizzeria DeVille. I have lived in Libertyville for many years and I was excited to try Pizzeria DeVille for the first time. I ordered My Favorite Pie to-go. This was undoubtedly the worst pizza I have ever had. The pizza was burnt, tasted stale, and had barely any sauce or toppings. The pizza was inedible, and I had to throw it out. This was a really disappointing experience for the price I paid.
The food was yummy!! I was worried that the pesto would overpower the pizza, but the combination with something sweet made it perfect. My husband loved the variety of beers, and the meatballs were delicious. Our waiter was fantastic!

Service was very good until they got busy, then it tapered off. Pizza took a little long and wasn't quite hot when we got it so I think it had been sitting a minute or two too long. We ordered the Pizza Bianca and they might want to reconsider the cheese mix...this one is on the very salty side, but still good. It is definitely a great place to have in Libertyville!
