Outstanding food and service ... tables closely set and it is VERY NOISY!!! Other diners next to us were rudely loud!

Just a jewel of a place in Libertyville with authentic food and great atmosphere. Service is always phenomenal.

We visit Restaurante Bottaio as part of our rotation when in the area. We choose the Lake Superior White Fish as the "go-to" entree since it is unique and always excellent. They continue to improve the dish with innovative ingredients that do not disappoint. The bread is always an excellent starter with their soup or salad. Traditional Italian entrees are very pleasing, but try the fish entrees first!

Bottaio is a staple in Libertyville for a reason—great ambiance, consistently AUTHENTIC Italian food, and attentive service. The menu has something for everyone, from classic pastas to fresh seafood. A PLUS PLUS

We went to celebrate my daughter's birthday. Dinner was great, we all enjoyed our meals and shared the birthday tiramisu Definitely will go back

We had a nice experience the last time we were here but this one was not good. Service was slow and the food took way too long for pasta. One meal had burned sausage. To their credit, they did take the charge for that meal off the bill. Not what we expected in bringing friends

We loved everything about Ristorante Bottaio. Our meal was great . The staff was very friendly. We were not rushed through our meal and you could see other patrons just enjoying the evening . We will definitely make this a regular restaurant to visit.

We had a great time dining. I was there with a group of friends. We weren't quick to make our decisions. Our waiter was so patient. He didn't rush us and was very kind. Looking forward to going back soon.

We went for our usual - grilled calamari and the farfalle with spinach and white beans. It never disappoints. We added a special of crostini with pistachio pesto, mortadella and burrata which was delicious. The service was perfect as always!

Always starts with Tom, th owner who is second to none!! We are always treated to the very best service anywhere!! My grandmother, who is 107++ , is always taken care of like a rock star and this evening was no exception. Extra padding for her seat, a special window table and a chance to celebrate her 107& 1/2 birthday!! This is an exemplary study in the best of the best. Outstanding as usual!!!! Love this restaurant- never disappointed in our service, lemon drop martinis and fabulous homemade bread, dinner salad, salmon entree and eggplant Parmesan entree and tiramisu for dessert! Always a great place to go !
