Very disappointed with this place. I went solely based on the Google reviews, but the food did not meet expectations. We ordered chaat, drinks, naans, and chicken tikka masala. The chaat was decent, and the naan was good, but everything else was very disappointing. The chicken tikka masala in particular tasted off and smelled spoiled, definitely not fresh. Considering the quality, the prices are quite high. Unfortunately, I won’t be coming back.

I'm on the lookout for some Indian buffets to sample and try first before introducing my friends to the cuisine, some of which have never actually eaten it. I saw Singhs was nearby and had a Sunday lunch buffet, so I i figured I'd sample it. Here's how it went.
There were only 8 food choices available which included white rice, saffron rice, samosas, Dal makhani, palak paneer, chana masala I believe, a goat dish, and a butter chicken.
Goat dish tasted very gristly/cartilaginous. Spinach paneer was almost like a puree food, not really a big fan of it. I've had butter chicken at multiple places, but something about it tasted off. The sauce tasted a little sour. The samosa was ok, but the inside still tasted a little cold, maybe those were heated up when serving and not made fresh
The Garlic naan was soft, fluffy, and flavorful. Probably the best thing I tasted here. The waiter was kind and checked if I needed anything periodically.
One thing that irked me a little was there was no desert to try.
I've always brought friends to Aroma Restaurant in Vernon hills due to a wider selection of foods and better quality. They also have 2 desserts to try as well including one of the best Mango ice creams I've had. Looks like introducing new friends to Indian food will be continued at Aroma.

The cocktails, samosas, and entrees were delicious. The service was attentive and prompt, but not rushed. The sauces were particularly flavorful. I will return.

I order “ create your own bowl” . This concept sounded interesting so this is very first time i ordered something from this restaurant. Food was disgusting. I ordered fried paneer bowl with all the toppings with yougurt and curry sauce. They served plain onions (instead picked onions and believe me it was smelling so bad as if it’s two days old), they added cheddar cheese (instead amul cheese). There was barely any vindaloo sauce for which I have ordered entire dish. Their yogurt sauce was smelling bad as well. They should have told me in the beginning if they are out of something like (amul cheese, picked onions and bunch of sauce) in that bowl. My first and probably last experience was disgusting. I will never go that restaurant again.

We highly recommend this restaurant for both traditional and fusion Indian. We've patronized Singh's many times. On a few occasions, they've been understaffed but the servers are always friendly and helpful. Beautiful and creative dining room decor.

This is an amazing restaurant. The menu has so many interesting items we could eat here for a year and not run out of things to try. We had the Tikka samosas, packed with chicken and flavor. The shrimp tacos that were delicious and came with rice and chick peas, and a create your own bowl with saffron rice, chicken, a bevy of toppings and it was so good. The chicken was so tender and the flavors perfectly matched. The restaurant decor is tastefully Indian; upscale and comfortable with beautiful colors, and our server was so kind and helpful. We enjoyed every moment and every bite.

A total gem in Libertyville. My friends and I were looking for something new and decided to check out Singh's Kitchen in Libertyville. Walking in at about 8:30pm on a Sunday night, the place was quiet - like empty. We were afraid that they might not be open as there was nobody at the front. We found someone cleaning the bar, though, and were seated moments later. Reviewing the menu, we were surprised at some of the creative dishes. While they offer many traditional Indian dishes, they also offer some mashups that were totally unexpected. While the cheese and spinach samosas were not particularly special, the Fettucine was actually quite impressive. The butter naan was very good, but the cheese naan was outstanding. We tried three different entrées, along with mango lassi's, and we were really blown away with the flavors, as well as the portions, of everything. This is definitely a new favorite and we will be coming back. Service was great - unobtrusive, but always available (admittedly, we were the only ones there). The backlit onyx bar was beautiful and the environment was warm and inviting. Overall, we left stuffed - with plenty of leftovers - and very happy that we came. Highly recommended!
