Great dessert.

Excellent gelato. We received a friendly greeting as soon as we walked in, and we were offered a chance to taste a few samples. The gelato tastes wonderful! Such a delightful treat after our dinner down the street. We will return in the future!

This gelato shop is an absolute gem! The flavors are incredibly fresh, rich, and authentic, making every scoop a delightful experience. You can truly taste the high-quality ingredients, and the creamy texture is just perfect. The variety of flavors is amazing, from classic favorites to unique seasonal creations, ensuring there’s something for everyone.

So glad we found this place in Libertyville. Highly recommend it.

Tried a sample at Woodman's in Volo on Saturday 12/21. I'm not a huge ice cream lover, but I really liked the sample of the Mint chocolate gelato. I decided to purchase a pint of the gelato. Within less than twenty four hours, I have consumed the entire pint! Very tasty!!!

Excellent gelato! I would love to see more toppings like home made Carmel and hot fudge etc…

I love Sweet Home Gelato ? I never really ate gelato till I moved to close to this location & I'm so glad I came across it! Ugh, the flavors are so good! They have dairy & non dairy flavors, I stick to the non dairy. I absolutely LOVE the raspberry it's bomb ? it tastes hella fresh, too. They have a grapefruit that comes out every couple months or so & I really like that too. Once I start eating, it's hard to stop ? They also have a cute outdoor alley with tables & chairs to sit & enjoy.

Not the best in the world , but considering there is no gelato places locally , this is the best option and better then any ice cream for sure. The price was high but they probably have to make it fresh every day which is very costly so I expect to pay about 6 to 7 dollars for a small serving. Definitely rich persons, food.

Plenty of different flavors and gelato cups are more than filling. Loved the oreo flavor and would recommend this place.

Serving size rather small for the price and the hazelnut gelato had absolutely no taste. My friend said the raspberry was ok. Very disappointed because in the past the gelato was much better.

The Gelato was some of the best I ever had. I recommend the lemon. It was very smooth and tart. Just like I prefer. Atmosphere wise, there was nowhere to sit.

The gelato is good but we sat outside for twenty minutes while they were supposedly open and the guy was on his phone had the open sign on but wouldn’t unlock the door
