The Board Room Libertyville

We have been to The Board Room many times before and been happy with the service and the food. This evening, however was very different. The service was lacking. Our waitress kept forgetting us and forgetting to bring drinks/food. The food was lukewarm. We left very disappointed.

Had an awesome experience at the board room. Booked their private room for a surprise engagement celebration! Had a wonderful server named Lexi who made the night all the more successful! Thank you Lexi and the board room staff!

We had a wonderful dinner at The Board Room. Our server, Nick, was great! He was super friendly and helpful. The small plate menu has interesting selections and they were all delicious. The ambience was fun.

I think the shine is wearing off of Boardroom as the charcuterie boards aren't really what they used to be and the food and drinks are just more expensive versions of the same things. I think they need a reset to reestablish themselves.

Food and drinks were fabulous! Such a cute place! I highly recommend:) will definitely be back.

Not a fan and we wouldn't go back. Non-attentive servers, GF bun was dry, Diet Coke flat. Maybe good for parties, but can't see why anyone would want to go otherwise.

We were alone in a side room which was fine and much quieter than it would have been in the main dining room. Our meal was fine, not great but good. The staff was great!

Cesar was awesome! I had a reservation for ten people and he was super attentive, even while attending to his other tables. He truly is what made the experience so great. He's an asset to the team.

The martini tower is a must!!You can't go wrong with any of the food either. We had ordered the Goat cheese balls, firecracker shrimp for appetizers. They were both very delicious. For entrees we had the Signature Pillow Purse Pasta and Lake Superior Salmon. They were both delicious as well.

Food was terrible , filet overcooked and chewy. Worst French onion soup as well. Staff gave us chicken piccata instead and honestly that was terrible too. I will not go back.

I chose to celebrate with my classmates from North Chicago Community High School 75' October birthday club. The Brunch food was amazing, staff were so attentive to our requests. Excellent restaurant to gather with family and friends 😀. Thanks Liz for having such a professional staff and top service local restaurant.

The owner and staff are wonderful. Andrea and Jenna are wonderful engaging women who do such a great job taking care of everyone at the bar. You'll be lucky to get Lexi as your server. Everyone is great. Lucky to have them in Libertyville..

What a fun restaurant! It has a great vibe and we loved the food. The menu had great options.

I had the pleasure of dining at The Board Room for the first time last night with two friends, and I can confidently say it exceeded all of our expectations. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt perfect for a nice night out!!! The food was absolutely outstanding. Every dish we ordered was flavorful and beautifully presented. You can really tell the care and attention that goes into the menu. A special shoutout to our server, Lexi, who made the evening even better. She was attentive without being overbearing, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely kind. Her service was truly top-notch and added so much to our overall experience. Thank you to The Board Room for such a wonderful evening. I'll definitely be coming back soon and recommending this spot to others!

We had such a wonderful experience thanks to our waitress, Lexi!! She was upbeat, fun, and made the whole meal feel like more than just dinner—she made it an experience! Not only was she attentive and quick with drink refills, but she also anticipated what we needed before we even had to ask. She suggested the best GF meals and they did not disappoint. It's rare to find someone who can make you laugh, feel taken care of, and still keep everything running smoothly. She absolutely deserves recognition for the great service she provided.
