I let this review sit for a while, and I was recently reminded of when a fixture from a heating lamp had fallen in my soup. I didn't realize it right away when I was eating it. When discovered, it was gross. I didn't feel like finishing any of the other food, but we stayed. They removed the charge from bill, and I think they may have given me a dessert. Overall, they didn't seem too concerned.

Our favorite restaurant in Libertyville, and we know them ALL. I order the Pad Thai any time I see it on a menu, and this is by far one of the best Pad Thai's I have ever had. The staff is also great and the bar is usually open late. And if you like spicy food definitely ask for the chili oil. WARNING, only add 1 drop at a time! It will melt your face! ?

I moved here 5 months ago and live across the street. I wandered by The Green Room every week as I dined across Libertyville. Sure, I looked at their menu, and candidly I didn’t get it. What is a Green Room, a vegetarian restaurant?! We’ll, I’m an idiot!!!Three weeks ago I decided to give it a try. Not only is the food phenomenal, it’s a family affair with a culture and vibe lost decades ago.If you are in the mood for different, but exceptional, try out The Green Room. I’m a weekly patron now and have tried a new dis every time. No disappointment!Enjoy!!!

the vibe was really great. just a nicely decorated restaurant. we had a server in training, he was really nice and was trying his very best, so no complaints. the food though…SO GOOD. those were the best crab rangoons i have ever had, and the little italy was incredible with parmesan cream.Vegetarian options: there were a few options to swap put the meat for tofu.

Wow! I just had the best piece of trout. The Green Room served a Montana trout with brown butter almondine and green beans tonight. I had a choice of rice or mashed potato. I chose the rice, which I used to soak up every last bit of the fantastic sauce.I've been coming here from the beginning, and now tend bar here part time and I am still thrilled by the amazing dishes they serve here.

Had a wonderful dinner there last night! Made reservations on Tuesday for Friday dinner and glad we did because it was packed. Started off with the wok bang shrimp as an appetizer, which was fantastic. Our table had the white fish, crispy, Mongolian beef, and a great salad!

Good bartender, good waitress and decent food. We enjoyed our dinner. However, for typical Asian food, they are pricey for what we got. They are small portions and not for sharing as you expected in most Asian restaurants.Vegetarian options: You can substitute the meat with tofu with any dish.

Went here with a 6:00pm reservation on a Saturday in July. We parked in the back which, once we got into the restaurant, were told we were not allowed to do or else we would get towed. So one of us went to move the car. Once we got settled, the service was prompt and friendly. My husband and I are 48 and 50 years old; even with our reading glasses on and using our phone as flashlights, the menu was incredibly difficult to read. The font is odd and italicized and gray lettering. Just kind of annoying and felt disappointed; we really weren't counting on putting effort into reading the menu, ya know? We pulled up the menu on our phones; that was easier to read. We ordered the Rangoon; delicious. I had looked at the menu beforehand and was looking forward to trying their homemade Ramen. When I went to order this, the waitress informed me that they weren't serving this all summer. I asked for more time to look at the menu. My husband and son ordered the special: steak with chimichurri. They both thought it was good. I ordered Chicken piccata sonata; it was ok. We did not stay for dessert. The decor was ecclectic and interesting to look at. Lighting was unique and interesting.
