Our family spent the weekend at the Lincolnshire Marriott to celebrate our parent's 65th wedding anniversary. We were welcomed and felt like royalty. My parents had phoned the Marriott prior to our stay and spoke with Brad, a manager. We were over-the-top surprised with the friendly greeting upon arrival, staff congratulating our parents, rooms close together and accessible for my parents from the lobby, pool and restaurant areas. The weekend was perfect. The hotel is busy, had several weddings in progress, but all patrons were taken care of as if they weren't busy. The front desk staff is so patient and friendly. The servers and cooks at the Three Embers (ate there for breakfast only) were top-notch. There is a beautiful outdoor seating area in the evening with fire tables and patio lighting. Brad, the manager, was accommodating and made sure our stay was perfect. It was the perfect choice for our little family celebration. Thanks to all at the Marriott Lincolnshire.

If you’re ever in the Lincolnshire area, do not hesitate to book your stay at the Marriott Lincolnshire. This location is Marriott at its finest. The hotel sits on a beautiful property. The rooms are clean. The beds are so comfortable. I have stayed at this location a few times on business. The room is equipped with a large desk and a comfortable chair, perfect for working on my laptop. The beds are comfortable. The shower in the bathroom is wonderful. On my last stay there were a few issues with the toilet but the engineering department came right up and fixed the problem right away. I cannot give enough compliments to the entire staff, including the front desk, Three Embers restaurant and Starbucks. They are always willing to accommodate any requests. I feel like I’m talking to a friend when interacting with them. There is a beautiful jogging trail right behind the hotel, which goes for miles along the Des Plaines River. You definitely want to take advantage of this if you can. I hope to be back to the Marriott Lincolnshire in the near future. Thank you for the wonderful stay, and for helping me move up to the next Marriott level - Silver Elite.

The hotel looks renovated; we booked the larger king room and it was a nice size. Great service. Although Wright bar/bistro seemed understaffed, servers /bartenders were amazing. I can’t remember the woman server who worked the pool deck on Saturday 7/29 but she was attentive and did her best keeping up with the large crowd at the pool. Carlos and Eric at the Wright bar were wonderful. They are the reason we will return to this hotel! Nice having a full service Starbucks in the lobby. We enjoyed our little weekend getaway! Thanks for a great stay!

After complaining twice the bathroom door was put back on track but the missing floor piece was not replaced so the bathroom door still didn’t really close. The graffiti on the room mirror was not cleaned off despite my complaints. The bathroom is the size of a powder room with only one sink and no racks or hooks to hang wet towels or swimsuits. Not that I would recommend swimming! The bottom of the outdoor pool was covered with debris and even the indoor pool had random stuff floating in it. An outside drain was clogged with bandaids and some green gunk. Sleeping was also difficult as those in a neighboring room partied until after midnight. The seems to be no sound proofing. We will never stay in this awful place again!

I love the Lincolnshire. We’ve stayed here for a few years for lacrosse tournaments. The staff is wonderful, the food is good, and the place is BIG. Grounds are well kept. Plenty of easy parking. Some friends have complained that their room was very small and cramped but we’ve had the opposite experience. Ours have had two beds and plenty of room, clean, and soundproof. My advice is to request a room close to the lobby. Google and download to hotel site map to see how big it is. If you end up in a wing far from the lobby, you’ll have a long walk. And I suspect the farther away you get from the lobby, the smaller and older your room may be? Having Starbucks in the lobby is great. Go early and/or plan for a wait wait. Line is usually long. This is never quick (no offense to the baristas who work their butts off and are very nice.) Pool is great. Wonderful place to have a wedding or other big event. Two years in a row we were lucky to see a gorgeous wedding where the groom rode in on a horse. So much fun! (PS: During tourney weekends, plan to have to go to multiple ice machines as the one on your floor may be empty or out of service.)

I like this hotel. I'm not sure why there are so many recent negative reviews. The hotel has been completely remodeled while keeping some of the original vintage charm. Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, staff was very friendly and helpful. M Club is a good size and offers coffee, espresso, water, and soda 24/7. Good suburb location. I'll be back.

Too old can’t breathe. Elevators smell horrific. They can’t clean and vacuum the shaft. Pretty worn and old furniture for the price. Not up to par. Getting too old. What did Marriott do with all the money they got. They didn’t remodel.

My husband and I stayed here over the weekend. I was debating between Westin and Lincolnshire Marriott Resort and decided to stay here based on the reviews. We were upgraded to a king junior suite in the 3rd floor (the highest floor). However, we were disappointed about the room. It was very dark most likely due to the half-way windows. The hotel was renovated around 2017 and the designer did design the room from a customer's perspective. Shampoon/condition/bath gel dispensers were on the top of tower rack inside of the shower. I am 5'5'' and had quite difficult time in reaching them. The bathroom was narrow/small and it was very crowded for two persons. Dresser doors could not be closed tight. This resort has one of two M Clubs in Illinois (based on the website) and this was another reason I chose this hotel. Very depressing M Club and no snacks at all. Small gym with limited equipments in the first floor. Indoor pool was small right next to lobby area and everyone could get in without a room keycard and everone passed by could see through the pool area. SPA was not open. Only one restaurant opened over the weekend. Also poor designed lobby. Staff was friendly. We decided not to stay here overnight and has no plan in returning in the near future.

Solid 3.5 stars, totally functional resort hotel. Well, if you are going to their theater and need to do something in that suburban area of Chicago. We did one night family staycation to use (or lose) one free Marriott night before it expired. Rooms are spacious, but definitely show their age. Need to be updated and freshened up. Common areas and restaurant are quite adequate. Service is friendly. Cannot comment on the rate, as it was free night. All in all, not bad.

Returned for a second visit and very disappointing The hotel and rooms are very tired looking and in urgent need of a refurb The housekeeping is cancelled unless u ask for it! The bar scene in the main lobby is closed so the only bar is with the restaurant and it lacks any atmosphere, the staff are not very friendly and many drinks are not available including any draft ales! The restaurant/ bar area feels like you are in a large sports hall with zero atmosphere and no compelling reason to eat or drink in The only good thing about this hotel is the coffee shop which serves a decent Starbucks coffee Overall very under whelming and there are better hotels in the area Shame really as I would like to remain loyal to the Marriott brand

Wonderful oasis! Excellent breakfast options: scrambled eggs, sausages, porridge, all kinds of riot, yoghurt, cereal, several juices… For the evening at 17:30 there’s hot hors d'oeuvres, cheeses, healthy snacks. At 19:00 the desserts come out. You can order off the restaurant menu for food, beer, wine and cocktails. Tea, coffee, water and sodas are available 24/7.
