Walker Bros. Original Pancake House

I had the German pancake and with 100% recommend if you don't want a lot then order the baby Dutch you won't regret it. I asked for strawberries with mine.

Always a great experience. Always quality food. Pleasant staff. Sometimes a wait. Pricey, however!

Old world charm. The atmosphere is delightful. Old English library setting. Food is wonderful and the staff - attentive, warm and personable. Wonderful experience.

You can never go wrong with Walker Brothers. Excellent food large restaurant. Just lovely

Great food and atmosphere. Met with my sister to celebrate her birthday 🎂. We had a wonderful time service great. Definitely plan on returning.

We went to the one in Lincolnshire. We were seated and a young man came over with coffee. He told us he would be right back to take our order. No problem. The problem arose when he never came back. After 15 minutes my husband went to the hostess and requested a server. After another 10 minutes a young women finally came and took our order. We asked about the original server and she informed us that he went home. Unbelievable! He didn't even have the common decency to let them know he left a table stranded without service. We will never go there again, ever. Other choices in the area and cheaper too.

Great place upon entering. I loved the atmosphere. We were greeted by an older white gentleman who was very polite and welcoming. We were told to choose seating.
My wife is black. While looking for a table, we received several glares from other customers. We sat and were attended to by a Hispanic waitress who was very professional and kind.
Later we were approached by a white waitress, average height, blonde, who greeted us with, "Hello! How may I- oh.." upon seeing my wife. She asked what drinks we'd like. Wife asked for OJ. I was served coffee earlier by the Hispanic waitress, with proper etiquette. When wife was "served" her juice, the waitress placed it quickly, at the edge of the table, throwing the straw alongside it, and leaving immediately. We didn't have time to say thank you, nor did we get a response when I called out a "thank you."
Appalled, we walked out.

This was supposed to be a breakfast treat break from the busy lives we lead.

Hate to say it, even against the older gentleman (he was really awesome. I wish the staff shared his attitude.) unfortunately, but it seems blacks aren't welcome.

We at color cocktail factory recently stopped by Walker Bros Original Pancake house on a Friday morning. This location is beautiful. The home set up gives a feeling of comfort and the stained glass windows were beautiful to look at during breakfast. Of course the blue berry pancakes were incredible. The best I’ve ever had at any breakfast restaurant (I must add) but so was the Dutch baby! The service was fast, genuine, and helpful. We at color cocktail factory love to visit local buisness’s all around the Chicago area to support and enjoy the places that make this city so great!
