We’re from central Illinois. Our son goes to school here so we decided to find a good dog. Boss Dawgz didn’t disappoint. I had the Three Dawg Flight. My wife had the cheese fries and our grand daughter had the the Ripper. I couldn’t decide which was my favorite of my three. Everything was delicious. From the moment we walked in the door we were greeted and spoken to like family. PLEASE PLEASE put one of these in Springfield Illinois. I’d eat there all the time.

Mannnn this place is 🔥. I had driven by so many times, but finally the other day after I got my car washed, I was totally in the mood for a glizzy and decided to give it a try. And Gawd Damn am I happy I did. This is far from your standard hot dog spot, they can dress one Chicago style for you but their menu far surpasses anything you could have hoped for. I went in for one and had to get seconds. From bread baked in house and their own blend of dog to the hospitality and cleanliness this is truly a suburban gem and should be enjoyed. Can’t wait till I’m in the area to hit Them up again. Totally suggest you do the same.

Saw the 4.8 on google and decided to try it and see what the hype was about. Great hotdogs with a bunch of different variations and flavors to choose from. I myself prefer a poppyseed bun but that’s just my personal preference. Where this place really won me over was the Italian beef sandwich. This was the best beef sandwich I’ve had in 15 years. It hit on all the points. The mozz, the bread was perfect, the old school giardiniera and the flavorful au jus. I kid you not, this is the best beef sandwich in the western burbs hands down. Oh and I didn’t even mention how good the fries were. This place lived up to the hype. Hot dogs were a solid 8.5/10 Fries9/10 Italian beef sandwich 10/10

We went here for a school fundraiser and I'm glad we did. There are about 20 ways to get a hotdog. Many hotdogs have toppings you may not find on a hotdog, but they definitely make it work. And for the blue bayou hotdog I got, it was served in a lobster roll bread that gave it some extra flavor. And the service was excellent, the people were nice and pleasant and we got our dogs without a long wait. If you are ever in the mood for hotdogs and if anyone is feeling adventurous this is the place for you.

I never leave a review, but never have I either been so in awe of such a beautiful establishment. I rarely try independent brands or owners due to negligence in quality and service, but I can't even come close to this judgement with boss Dawgz. From the involved personable and passionate owner to the friendly and helpful cook I was sold upon entrance. But little did I know how much better the experience would get. I ordered the chill cheese dawg. The original boss dawg. And the specialty animal dawg. With fresh buns baked in house how can you go wrong. The heat and savory taste to the chili phenomenal. The flavor profile on the animal I can't describe as anything other than orgasmic. And when you eat the original you learn very quickly why this place has thrived the last 3 years it's been opened. And to TOP all of that, some of the best fries I've had out here perfectly crisp and salted. I cannot believe it took me 4 months to try this place out. Shame on me. Don't be like me. Come check this place out. I absolutely love hot dogs. And now I have my permanent
