I loved this place when I lived in downers grove and if it was still as it was when I moved to the area I'd rate 5 stars, but they have grown to be so unreliable. Their hours have changed more than once with no notice posted on their social medias, and they consistently close early.... Without updating their social medias. As of February 2024, their Yelp page, Website, Facebook and Instagram have the incorrect hours. I just submitted their updated hours to Google, so that has been changed.. but prior to today, their google hours were ALSO wrong. I've travelled here from my new home in Plainfield more than once just to find out they're closed with no notice… even when following the new hours just to be surprised by a note on the door that says “closing at 11:00 today” ?I also feel bad for the girl (I think her name is Sarah, her nails are always really long and pretty) that's always up at the front register seemingly running the whole place by herself, taking orders with long lines and then having to go make everything without a helping hand.. because of this, service takes awhile. She's worked there for a long time. Wish she had someone helping her back there. But, this place is still great when I do go and when I get lucky that they're open, food and coffee are good. Inside is nice also and cozy.

The sandwiches were fresh and warm. The drinks were good too! Much better coffee than Starbucks
Fantastic little cafe in Lisle. Their egg sandwiches are amazing and the “london fog” tea tastes great.
Vegetarian options: Every ingredient is easily substituted for no additional cost

The regular coffee tastes bad, definitely not worth it. First and last time here. I only had regular coffee so idk about the other drinks but im not coming back to find out.
The worst customer service I’ve experienced. Staff were rude and unprofessional. I understand being busy but they didn’t even look up or acknowledge the customers that were waiting. No verbal communication on their end (even after we tried greeting them) instead they were gesturing that we hurry-up with our order.

Great little European-like gem,. Very reasonable prices, Lavazza latte, and warm breakfast sandwich for less than ten bucks....

Took an Uber here only to find that the espresso machine wasn’t working. Since I came for the coffee I was disappointed. The barista was EXTREMELY helpful and gracious, offering pastries and refunds. Still, the breakfast sandwich I had was small, and only ok, and expensive. The pastries didn’t look particularly good. The coffee machine didn’t work. The vibe wasn’t particularly cozy; and it isn’t possible to tip with a card. I don’t think I’d go back.

I ordered the Chipotle Chicken and Bacon sandwich - The aioli was tasty and the cheese was good, however the cubed chicken was quite dry and definitely overcooked. The bacon was alright and the bread was super soft, probably the best part.I also got the Oatmilk Honey Matcha Frappe which was pretty good. Could’ve definitely used more honey, though.Overall a 7/10, espresso machine was no functional unfortunately and I could not try their coffee. Judging by everything else I’d say it’s not bad.

Used to be good when it first opened. Service and food isn't good anymore. Store must have took a turn.

The photos on Google Maps look intriguing but seeing the spot in person leaves a lot to be desired. The latte was also disappointing.
This place used to be amazing. I’m not sure what’s been happening. But the last few times I’ve been here the quality has gone way

As a self-proclaimed coffee connoisseur, I had one of the best plain lattes I've had in a while! The staff was very nice and the food was great. The bacon and Nutella didn't last long after I gave it to my 3-year old and my avocado toast was amazing too. Only downsides were they were out of egg (25 minute wait for more) and not much (if anything) for gluten-free options. Will be back again regardless!
