My husband and I had the pleasure of having Chef by Request cater our wedding in October. From the first start we knew that this was going to be a great vendor. Amanda was such a pleasure to work with. She was wonderful with communicating and keeping us in the loop with everything. We tried a variety of foods during our tasting and when we wanted to try something else Amanda was great about notifying us when another tasting wanted to try the specific dish we wanted to try and would set us aside a sample. She has such great communication skills and really made me feel at ease. Our wedding was perfect and we would not change a thing. Our food was delicious, however the specific cut of steak we tried at the tasting was completely different at the wedding, our potatoes that we tried at the tasting had a sauce drizzled on top of them the day of the wedding and it seems like the order of who we wanted food served first (vendors, tables, etc) went out the window. While our guests had no idea and said the food was delicious, why have a tasting if what you get the day of the wedding is different? I would highly suggest to anyone using this company to tread lightly especially when it comes to having a tasting vs. what you get the day your big day.

Chef by Request catered our wedding hosted at The Crawford for roughly 150 people. Amanda was so easy to communicate with and executed a near perfect dinner on our wedding night. The staff was absolutely amazing. I felt as if we were at a fine dining restaurant as they served and bussed our tables. Appetizers held everyone over til the abundance of food was served for dinner. We chose their Chicken Vesuvio, Eggplant Parmesan (my personal favorite), and Choice Sirloin served family style. Everything tasted amazing and the meat was cooked to perfection. Guests commented "Some of the best wedding food I've ever had". We also had linens and table settings provided by Chef by Request. They have several color options to chose from and it made the rental process so much easier! I Would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking to host a big event!
