Greeted with a big good morning as we walked in, Reagan was our waitress and she was super friendly and helpful. Great little place for breakfast. The wife and I both had country fried steak & eggs and it was very good.
Love this place! Highly recommend. Can’t go wrong.

I highly recommend JR's Place. My husband, two young boys, and I went for the first time this week. We were impressed by the kindness shown by the staff, especially the attentiveness to our children. The food was great, and the prices were very fair. We will be back!
Kid-friendliness: The waitress anticipated the needs of our kids down to offering to cut a straw shorter to make my son's chocolate milk easier to drink out of his small glass!

Great little place, reminds me of a historical diner. I don't bowl but there's an entrance separate from the bowling alley. They offer simple diner foods. I didn't see any alcohol on the menu but there's a bar inside the bowling alley. The prices were fantastic. I ordered burger fries and a tea and it was 12 bucks. I kind of felt bad only tipping five bucks but that's almost half the bill. I'll probably go back soon. They had some things are off the menu but on the whiteboard that might be only available for a limit of time. Highly recommend it if you're interested in a simple casual diner environment.

My husband and I go here on a regular for their eggs over biscuit and gravy and Tuna sandwich. The Tuna sandwich is my favorite. The taste beats out other places where I have had tuna. Always delicious and great service by Amanda especially. She is always in a positive outgoing mood and provides amazing service.

“JR’s Place” is fantastic! The pricing is super reasonable, and the menu offers great options without being overwhelming. Amanda made us feel right at home with her warm welcome. It’s a small, unassuming spot, and when I suggested to my brother that we check it out, we were a bit skeptical. But as soon as we stepped inside, we knew we’d found the perfect breakfast spot!
The total was $33 for the two of us, which is a great deal. If I hadn’t ordered extra pancakes, it would have been under $30! I can’t emphasize this enough—Amanda is amazing! She’s kind, friendly, keeps your coffee topped off, and ensures everything is just right. And the cook? Absolutely nailed the hash browns—actually crispy without even having to ask!
Do yourself a favor and check this place out—it’s worth the drive, whether it’s a short trip or a longer day hike to Amanda!! ❤️

Great prices, super friendly staff, and real food!! I've done myself a serious disservice by living in the area for years and only coming here for the first time this week. I've now been multiple times haha! Their breakfast sandwiches are amazing and the hashbrowns, while not my favorite, are different and chunkier than most other places and I love that. Covered in butter and delicious. Can't wait to try the lunch menu!!

This place is exactly what I expected. Affordable food, pretty decent flavor, perfect portion, with kind and attentive staff. I grew up going to this location (owned by someone else and different business name) and I'm happy I was able to share good memories with my children.
Kid-friendliness: No coloring tools for the kids but they enjoyed themselves and the staff was super kind. Even guided my children (7 and 9) to the restrooms when asked where they were.

This place is AWESOME!!! Old School! Small, Fully, Operational Diner within the Bowling Alley. Hidden Gem! So Cheap for GREAT FOOD! Zero Clue why they don't charge more. The kind of Diner you'd find down state Illinois or Indiana/Iowa, or any small, farm town. Waitress was FANTASTIC! Service Top Notch! Food was GREAT! I felt like I was back in 1980/1990, and it was fantastic. Any other place the price would be double. Definitely going back, and bringing family and friends. ?
