Had a wonderful time with my wife, we celebrated our Valentine Day dinner. Been with her for 40 years and tonight was perfect. Great food and service, our waitress Orian was so nice. Made our evening very enjoyable!

We are Kindred regulars! Can always count on getting a table with a friendly server, yummy cocktails, and great food. It is tucked away in a neighborhood shopping center, but with the food quality of a trendy Chicago hot spot. It's a rare place that is great for all types of nights out—girls nights, dates, or family dinners with kids!

Was looking for a cozy warm weekday meal next to a fireplace and lo and behold we found Kindred GP! 1/2 price bottle of wine Wednesday and an amazing dinner, we certainly will be back! We have been to Kindred many times. We keep coming back because of the food and the staff. The food is always delicious. I go there thinking I will get my favorite menu item, but find that there is something new to try. I'm never disappointed. The menu has so many good choices. The presentation is nice too. The staff is so friendly; everyone greets you when you walk in. They are genuinely happy to see their patrons. This is a great place.

From the moment you flip open the menu, it's clear this isn't your typical “pub food.” While the classics are honored, each dish comes with thoughtful twists that elevate them beyond expectations. The appetizer lineup is a miniature tour of clever comfort: crispy Arancini Risotto Balls with housemade romesco, indulgent Wisconsin Cheese Curds, and the irresistible Reuben Rolls — all perfect for sharing over one of their curated craft cocktails!!!!

Kindred Gastropub was a delightful find. First, there were a multitude of little rooms in addition to the bar area where the noise level was perfect to enjoy a conversation. The menu was full of delightful options at different price points AND there were seasonal specials because nothing is more disappointing than finding new yummy restaurant then later realizing they never change their menu. My husband and I started with the seasonal Old Fashioned which were very good and had just a hint of smokiness. We had a seasonal arugula and beet salad which was very tasty. My husband had the seasonal Guinness beef stew that he absolutely devoured. I opted for the chicken and bacon wrap which is a menu item. It was very good and I opted for the truffle fries which are always delish! I'm already planning my next visit. We made a plan to try to tone down the dining out for 2026 but Kindred is another reason that will be VERY difficult. So yummy and great service! Oh yeah, they also serve Sunday brunch which is also on my "to try" list!

The dinning area was quiet and comfortable. The service was good. They were out of the ribeye steak and my first choice of a draft beer, which was a little disappointing but the overall experience was positive and we most likely will be going back.
First time visiting this restaurant. Upon entering the place, it can feel a bit disorienting since multiple dining rooms are spread out in a nonlinear fashion. The decor leans on black motif and has a hipster vibes. The lighting is good for menu reading. The service was good and efficient. The good came out promptly. We only ordered one appetizer, Arancini balls, to share and it was very good. For entrees we had their burger, chicken pot pie (winter special), grilled chicken wrap, and garlic chicken bowl. Everything was good but the chicken bowl was on the salty side.

Such a hidden gem! Loved the ambiance and cozy holiday decor. All of the food was phenomenal and staff were incredibly friendly! Will definitely be back to try out their brunch menu
