Let me start by saying i am not a sweets guy. I stopped by because i heard from a colleague this place had good churros. I wanted to surprise my wife with a treat for her so i stopped by on my way home from work. I am glad i did. The service was excellent. The counter girl gave me a few suggestions so i picked up a Lolas Churro strawberry milkshake, a box of assorted churros, some had fruity pebbles cereal on them, one of them had chocolate and almonds, one was plain, one was coated with cinnamon and there was 2 others coated similarly. I also had a red velvet strawberry ice cream with a giant chocolate with cereal covered churro. I tried all 3 because my wife said i was trying to give her diabetes amd sbe couldnt eat them by herself. She was right so i helped her. I could not put the milkshake down. Again i do not crave or enjoy these types of things like most people, i just dont crave them that way but man were these good! The milkshake was not ober the top sweet like you would think being that it had Lolas Churro inside. It was delicious. Best Milkshake i ever had! Ice cream with Giant churro was made exactly like in the picture and it also did not disappoint. It was delicious as well and again not as sugary as you would think with all the combinations of treats. Amd i think thats what sets this place apart. Normally if you consume these types of treats experts will tell you its not good for you. But again. These were NOT over the top sugary or sweet. I did not feel that guilty pleasure when you eat sweets like this. And that is why i will go back.

Absolutely amazing experience! The handmade churros were crispy on the outside, soft and warm on the inside—perfectly golden and coated with just the right amount of cinnamon sugar and our favorite toppings. The flavors were incredible, especially when paired with their rich chocolate nutella and strawberry or fruity pebbles and matcha, just wow, amazing!
What made the visit even better was the outstanding customer service. The ladies were so friendly, welcoming, and made sure everything was perfect and believe me it was the Lola’s latte was so good I drank it before I got home and omg, it came with a heart shaped straw. Now that made me smile and want to keep the straw lol They even took the time to make conversation with me about living in different areas of Illinois. I swear They made us feel right at home. You can tell they genuinely care about their customers and the quality of their products down to the last touch, it shows!
So If you’re a fan of churros, and great customer service this place is a must-visit. Can’t wait to come back for more! Thank you

I got the lotus / biscoff special and It was delicious. The combination of the fresh, hot churro with the soft serve makes an excellent combination.
I will say it does get a little messy with trying to take bites of the churro and ice cream, but that's to be expected and doesn't take away from the experience.
A great casual spot if you want to come with friends or bring a special someone.
We had a chance to talk to the owner and get to know her on a personal level which was awesome.

Lola’s Churroa has a very cute/ aesthetic atmosphere. The classic cinnamon churro with a horchata is my favorite combo. We come here often.

I stumbled in tonight and even though they'd started closing shop, but they happily tended to my churro craving. (Got the last batch of 2024!)
The staff are awesome and they make killer sweets. The matcha and fruity pebbles are where it's at.

This was my second time visiting this place. The first time, they didn’t have as much variety. The employees are very welcoming and attentive. We ordered pistachio and gold churro, Nutella and strawberries churro, and horchata strawberry. I do like the variety of churros available, they were both chewy and warm. However, the pistachio and the strawberry flavors were not evident after taking a couple bites of each one. Maybe try injecting the flavors inside them? I do appreciate the portion sizes. The horchata strawberry could use a stronger horchata taste, it was a bit too thin/watered down compared to other ones I’ve tried.
The decoration was mostly pink. There’s a spot in the corner for taking pictures. Unfortunately, at the time we came there were two moms and two daughters loitering and hogging the area. (12/14/24 after 9 pm) I honestly wanted to take a picture to add to my review. The two moms looked way too old to be taking 20 pictures of themselves. Parking is easy to find.

This was the perfect night cap for our group after the illumination light show at the nearby arboretum. The staff was welcoming and engaging, the churros were tasty, and the ambience was adorable. Get the churro bites with either the dolce de leche dip or the Nutella dip. You won’t regret it!
