My friend and I were biking around when we found this adorable little resturaunt with some of the best asian food I have ever had. I have been to some of the nicest Asian restaurants in the country, including Shanghai Terrace in downtown Chicago at the Peninsula and this beats all of it.

unfortunately i had to downgrade my review from 5 to 1 because with the new owners this place is just terrible and getting worse. I will never go again. It's not that it's "average" either - it's well BELOW AVERAGE. had to throw out the entire lunch today - except the egg drop soup and egg rolls. Everything else was not acceptable. this is NOT a one off. The last three times it's been poor quality. 3 strikes you are out. i never enjoy posting this sort of negative review because this affects a business, but, i don't want anyone else to have to waste money visiting here. it's that obvious.

We have used Lucky Wok for years and enjoyed the food. Yesterday we ordered Shrimp with Lobster Sauce, as usual, and it was horrible. It had very few shrimp and sauce was not done correctly. We will not order again.

Since new ownership took over, the quality, portions, prices and flavor of our favorite dishes have declined. Unfortunately, we’re going to be looking for a different Chinese takeout restaurant.

When I use to live in Lisle, I ordered food from lucky wok very often! The egg foo young was the best & the gravy was nice and thick! I moved but I would still drive out to Lisle to my favorite Chinese restaurant! I have not been there for a while but today my wife & I went there & found out it was under New Ownership! My wife & I looked at each other hoping that the food was still the same! We got home and boy were we disappointed! The egg foo young was greasy, the egg rolls tasted like a dry cinnamon roll, the shrimp chop suey was thick and greasy & I will never go to Lucky wok ever again! They should call it The unlucky wok!!! The only thing we got out of this place that was good was the fortune cookies! We spent $76 and boy were we disappointed! Throwing so many leftovers in the garbage!!!
