Absolutely the worst experience I've ever had at a restaurant. The service was terrible from the moment we walked in. There’s an older lady working there who has the worst attitude I've ever seen in the service industry. She was rude, disrespectful, and completely unprofessional in how she spoke to customers. It felt like we were a burden just for showing up.
The food? Just as bad. Tasteless, poorly cooked, and definitely not worth the price. Nothing about the experience was redeemable. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone — not even as a last resort. Save your time, money, and patience. Go anywhere else.

I'm trying to find Twice Cooked Pork like I used to have it, but it looks like I'll have to cook it myself. The dish here in the Chicago land area is not what I'm used to and have gotten it now from 2 places and same ingredients. It is marked as spicy from Magic Kitchen but it was without flavor or spiciness. Awfully bland. I'm used to pork belly with the fat trimmed off, super tender because it's cooked twice, Chinese cabbage, spicy as heck, not very greasy. What I've gotten (here and at another Chinese place) is pork belly with the fat, greasy, scallions?, onions and steamed rice. Not very good. Try something else. This location is marked as handicapped accessible but there is no way a wheelchair is getting in, and someone on crutches likely couldn't get in without 2 people helping. There is no place to dine in, and it's very dark and a little dingy. The girl taking orders was very nice and super fast. I have no doubt I'd find something on the menu that they do awesomely, but I'm on a quest. As an appetizer I got the crab Rangoon which were mostly wonton skin and 1 bite of filling. She provided sweet and sour in cups and I added hot mustard (don't ask... just try it) and I used this to dip the Rangoon in. I love this so it was of course very good. For the price I'd say the Rangoon was reasonable.

My local restaurant was closed on New Year's Eve so I needed something for my kid. So he loved their food. Rice was perfect and meat was tasty

The food is great. Like a hidden gem but they dont offer dine in anymore. Maybe if they put hiring signs, the high school kids can come and help out.

Really tasty food with generous portions, and friendly staff! I’m not sure if they offer dine-in earlier in the day since it was not available when I came towards closing time.

I got two dinner combos: Mongolian Beef & Chicken Egg Foo Young (2 patties!) with fried rice. I really liked that you could choose an egg roll or crab rangoon with the combo. I also got a small Egg Drop Soup that was good!

Definitely recommend the Mongolian Beef because it was so flavorful with a hint of spice, and the Chicken Egg Foo Young was tasty!

However, I was sad the gravy was missing.. some places have the gravy on top of the Egg Foo Young patty or on the side.

Besides that, I would definitely order again!

The dinner meal is great because you get rice and an egg roll or crab Rangoon! I would say the quality of the food isn’t the best. The orange chicken tasted microwaved because it was hard/rubbery on the outside. The crab Rangoon was decent but chewy. I would say the rice was the best part. Would I get it again? I’m not sure.

My daughter became violently ill later that night and into the next day. I ordered a different dish and although I did not throw up or have diarrhea - I did experience stomach cramps the next day. Unfortunately, will NEVER be able to order from there again after this experience. Although they do give great portion size, it's not relevant if you are going to be poisoned. I also found the rice to be soggy and not really like fried rice is supposed to be. Nothing Magic about this place.

I tried this place for the first time. The food was prepared quickly. The steamed dumplings and Mongolian chicken were both very good. Will definitely be back to try more items.
