What a wonderful experience at PoundCake Bakery!My friend and I were out and about, exploring downtown Lisle when we came across this cute little shop. Who could have predicted that we would meet the kindest people, have some delicious cake, and coffee! The owner, Bev, is incredibly passionate about her business and it's admirable. If you're in the area, definitely give this place a try.

One of my favs is the pumpkin cream cheese muffins I have to stop in weekly they are delicious amongst many other treats, staff is fun and friendly never disappoints fresh homemade

Despite very nice service, the old fashioned and cinnamon cream cheese pound cakes were inedible. The old fashioned was dry and tasteless with a denseness that screamed for milk which for the price was an absolute shame. The cinnamon cream pound cake had so much cinnamon flavor that it burned our tastebuds after each bite. The only highlight was the Mexican chocolate poundcake which had a nice flavor but did not resemble a typical poundcake in neither texture nor taste. It was a very disappointing experience since my dad had specifically requested poundcake for his birthday celebration so visited your location splurged on 3 cakes. I guess this will be a lesson learned on our end. When we arrived home we saw that these poundcake do not even use butter in their ingredient list - they rely on margarine. Very disappointing indeed.

Whoever gave this glorious place a bad review is a moron. Everything I've ever tasted from here has been miraculous, as is the owner, Bev. It's hard to recommend items, as they've all been delicious! However...no nevermind, I don't want others buying out my favorites. Just go, and rest assured, whatever you choose will be DELICIOUS!!!!

Wonderful bakery! Very accommodating! Called ahead and they were just putting a Key lime pie in the oven and had it ready when I put in online the time I was going to pick it up! Last minute order and they were wonderful making sure it was done on time! The pie was very delicious! My husband loved it for his birthday! Thank you for your help!!!
Love this bakery!! Their pound cake is the best!! I have used them for my client appreciation just before Thanksgiving. The loafs of pound cake are delicious as well as the platters to serve. My clients love getting them as gifts. Highly recommend for yourself or to share with others!!

The Lemon Blueberry, pumpkin and chocolate hazelnut pound cakes are all delicious! I served them at a family gathering and everyone loved them! Everyone is super nice and helpful! Would definitely recommend and will be getting more pound cakes in the future!

I went to this bakery expecting pound cake to be sweet and flavorful. I tried the old fashioned pound cake and it barely tasted like cake. The taste was pretty bland and the cake was not sweet. I hate store bought cake and I would have preferred store bought cake to what I ate from this bakery today. It was extremely disappointing
