Great place full of delicious wines and pizza. We get the goat cheese appetizer every time we go, and the leftover appetizer works great as a dip for the pizza crust. While it feels hard to find from the street outside, this place is a great gem worth finding.

Came here on a Thursday.. I guess I should have researched if they were having live music before we came. We wanted to sit inside but the music was way too loud for such a small place. We went outside which was much better (seats are very comfortable) I ordered a flight of 3 whites and they were delicious. I also ordered a butcher board with 4 different cheeses. The cheeses were good but I was disappointed to see it came with what looked to be tollhouse crackers (the ones that break when you try to spread cheese on them) my fiancé had the meatballs. He said they were good but could use some bread to go with them. Id try this place again when they don’t have live music and maybe get better crackers ;)

Urban Wine & Kitchen is a great local wine bistro and artisanal pizza joint. They make you feel welcome, the wine is good, and the food tasty. One of my wife and my favorite places to hang out.

I love this little place. The food is made freshly when you order. Superior ingredients make each dish tasty and delicious. I had the Italian grinder. The salads and pizza are also fantastic. We have frequented before! This was our third visit in 7 months!

Our first time here. We started with the goat cheese and fig jam bruschetta and split a Texas BBQ flatbread pizza. Our waitress was friendly and helpful. It was only her 2nd day on the job so still learning, plus she was the only waitstaff in the place on a Friday night at 5:30. She assured us that the owner would step up to help if need be. Our food was prepared and waiting on the counter. Waitress was busy so I asked the owner, who was sitting at the bar, if we could have our food. He said our waitress was busy opening a bottle of wine for another table. OK......... After about a minute he finally got up and delivered our food. Hence the 4 stars on service. She was great, he was not. We also thought the bruschetta would come before the pizza but that's no biggie. Overall we enjoyed the food, service in general and the atmosphere. The interior is done quite nicely and they have outdoor seating available. We sat by a window that was open to the sidewalk. We both agree that we would go here again.

I went with a friend and it was our first time at Urban Wine + Kitchen and it did not disappoint. It's a hidden gem in downtown Lisle. We were greeted my the manager who was also our waiter and started with Rose flights and 2 appetizers (stuffed mushrooms and Brussels sprouts which were both very good). We sat on comfy seats at a high top type table right by the opened window which was perfect. We ordered wine with dinner and had two of their sandwiches which were delicious! The manager was friendly and outgoing. Great dining experience.
I'm so glad to have a place like this in town. We really enjoyed our dinner, we had the meatball sandwich, lamb chops and parmigiana dish they were all delicious! The atmosphere is also very nice, perfect for date night or evening with friends. We'll be happy to come back!

This place is so lovely. It feels like a hidden gem as the outside is smooshed between other restaurants but it’s got a great atmosphere inside and outside. Wine flights are an awesome deal, and the pizzas here are so good!

was sat at a table outside by a hostess (who ended up being our server) who evidently told another table that we were going to give up our seat to them. when we did not give up our table, the group left and the server was upset and stated “those women wasted my time and my water”
zero people were inside because the music was so loud and you couldn’t hear anything.
i asked said server if we were to go in to order as my group had been waiting 10 minutes for service. she was rude in her answer and disappeared inside to then come back to take our order.
more short responses with an argumentative tone followed with very slow service. unsure if the server was having a bad day as from what i could tell she was alone.
didn’t tell us about any specials until after we ordered.
our order arrived and our charcuterie board was the saddest thing i have ever paid money for. on top of it looking like something a toddler could’ve put together, the server got our 4 piece order wrong and never told us the items we actually received.
the mushrooms we had tasted old and were soggy.
will never recommend this place to anyone nor will i return.
so disappointed to see a Salerno restaurant be so awful.
should have known it would’ve been bad when the server was wearing a shirt that said “nope, not today”. should’ve taken the advice that august 7th was not the day to be here.

Really cute atmosphere! I'm interested in returning to get the charcuterie and cheese and wine tasting, i think that is probably what this place does best and it looks like a great spot to meet with friends or a date to do that. We just ordered pizza for now and the pizza was only ok. Overall just could have used more flavor. Will be going back for the charcuterie and wine and vibes though!
