The bartender said “I like it quiet in this bar” and walked away. There were 7 women looking to have a drink so we could celebrate a 40th birthday in the local town the birthday girl grew up in. When the other customers mouth “I’m so sorry” about the service on the way out you know it wasn’t great. 5 other customers left after us.

A nice neighborhood bar that is unpretentious and has a laid-back vibe. The owner-bartender is nice to talk to and they have a small, but good selection of whiskeys. I like to come here for a neat pour of a good whiskey when I get done with my movie at Cinemark 7 Bridges.

He saw our group come in and audibly cussed under his breath, appearing deeply annoyed by our group’s presence and barking at us when we asked for a pen. A local bar, one owner, and I just like stepping back in time when I go there, no rush, local people, small conversation. I love supporting local places! No food, but he has take out menus there, he has bags of snacks hanging, nuts, chips, beef jerky.

A true dive bar, but not the hard core Chicago kind. The pizza is low key frozen and thrown in a grill but it works for the customers who are bias towards blue collar / conservative mix but even of you’re not that and up to watch people it’s definitely interesting.
