It feels uncomfortable, especially since she seems more polite to non-Korean customers than to those who appear Korean. I’ve heard similar feedback from others, which unfortunately makes me hesitant to return.

I have eaten at Tanaka Sushi once or twice a month since 2021, and they consistently serve the best Japanese and Korean food in the Naperville/Lisle area. I am a sushi snob, and their sushi is always fresh and well-prepared. Their cooked dishes are always served piping hot and delicious, well-plated, and the portion sizes are great for the price. The employees clearly have a tight-knit work environment, and they are all always polite. I cannot recommend this restaurant more. You will never regret a Tanaka Sushi lunch.

Stop by here after a stroll at the Morton Arboretum on a hot day! It’s a self-service small casual place with good quality food. No tipping required is awesome 👍😄We ordered Tanaka Box that came with fresh big sashimi and nigiri, the spicy tuna roll had a real kick which I love. The Volcano roll is baked and is done well. Bibimbap was on point, too. I would stop by again next time we come to the arboretum.

I'm from out of town so I didn't know what to expect but Tanaka Sushi blew me away! The service was fast and the staff helpful! The food tasted amazing and fresh! I definitely recommend it to anyone who likes Korean or Japanese food!
