Country Inn Motel & Mini Storage

There is no Wi-Fi in the rooms at not there fault but woke up every 15 minutes with someone hitting the wall and long term renters living there asking for smokes when u walk out at 4 am could have spent $10 more and at least had a free breakfast and WI. Fi.

The room were very nice. I liked the older feel. It was clean.
The restaurant was clean and had friendly service and Great food.
Sorry it took me 1 year to write this review.

Route 66 is cool to explore. The Motel owner was extremely friendly and accommodating! Check in was simple and love the ability to park right in front of your room. The room was very clean, (Not updated, but aged well). There is a diner attached, but we didn't eat there, but that's where we checked in and the food looked good and it was very clean.

Great prices and tasty food for a quick stop along the highway!

This is a place I'm just thankful is there. The food is great, the sausage specials are fantastic, the coffee is bottomless, and the atmosphere is as a diner should be.

Room was pretty basic but what more do you really need than a bed and hot shower, there's semi truck parking and the lady who runs it is super sweet. Big plus on it being American owned.

Great place for amazing food and a simple place to relax. Most the staff are all wonderful and friendly. Other than Vickie...that woman is very rude and mean towards people.

The staff and service was great. Very friendly and accommodating. The rooms however, need work. I asked for a non-smoking room. Upon arrival I noticed most of the doors have a “non-smoking” sticker on them, but all 3 rooms we booked reeked like decades of cigarette smoke. We went through a cocktail of air fresheners to try and mask the smell but nothing helped. Next, the carpet. It was damp and sticky. The door locked, but had a thin air gap around the frame letting BBQ smoke/smell into the room from our neighbor grilling in the parking lot. The beds were fine but the pillows were flat. The bathroom door could not be shut or locked. There were cigarette burns on a set of the bed sheets and all along the tub in the bathroom. For me, I couldn’t get past the smell. We booked 2 nights but only stayed one because I chose to sleep in our car rather than in the room. We checked out at 9:30am and had breakfast there. I was still charged for 2 days for each room although we only stayed one.

Rooms: Our 3 rooms all smelled like decades of cigarette smoke. The carpet was damp and sticky. One of the front doors had an air gap all the way around it. One of the bathroom doors did not close or lock. The rooms are in bad need of either a deep clean or replacement of carpet, curtains and bedding.

Food & drinks: Breakfast was good.

The food here is wonderful! Get their fried chicken or on the weekends, they have a breakfast special with homemade sausage you need to try!

The most homey and comfortable place to stay in the metro east area. The service is so friendly and accommodating. The food in the cafe is fantastic. If you like pie, this is the place for you. All of the meals are fairly priced and have that homemade taste most other restaurants don't have. I would recommend the motel and Cafe to anyone looking for a comfy stay or a hot and tasty meal!
