This has become our go-to spot since moving to Lombard 3 years ago. The food and service are consistently wonderful!

We brought our dog and they opened up some patio seating for us. We were the first outside sitters of the year and it was a sunny 59° day. Food was amazing and they got it out so quick! Highly recommend the Beer Cheese burger and the Fried Pickles with Garlic Aoli (or Spicy if you don’t mind the heat)

Visited during Lombard Restaurant Week, which was going on whilst I was in town for a separate event. I was in around 14:00.
Ordered a classic burger. The first complement that I have is on how well they present their plates (depicted in the photograph). The bun was toasted perfectly - I am not that concerned about the potato buns they state they use in the menu, and I also liked the texture of the patty, which I believe is prepared in-store and smashed. The fries were also good. They are cut fresh in store, which I appreciate.
Definitely a worthwhile visit if you are in town.

This is my granddaughters favorite place. I'm glad she took me here. I had a delicious chicken sandwich with lingonberry and cheese on a Pretzel bun. I was pleasantly surprised. It was very busy at lunch time. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Give them a try.

The food I always get there is so good. Everything's made fresh to order. Service is excellent. Everything comes out in the timely manner it's a small place. That's the only knock so you have to make sure you have time if the tables are fold away.

How have I not written a review for this place yet? Maybe I did when they first opened…
Everything is ALWAYS good- I am never disappointed and never let down.
The food is always consistent, and spot on.
I eat gluten free and feel they have amazing bread/buns for their sandwiches. They are always able to accommodate for me.
We love their burgers. The really Gouda is our favorite. I also love the schnitzel dinner and sandwhich.
The owners put so much love and hard work into this place. It shows! Way to make a Lombard staple!

Quaint old building adds a lot to the atmosphere of this restaurant. Service was okay. Food, my sandwich, chicken apple brie, was cold instead of warm, looked like it was thrown together. Saving grace of the meal was the mushroom soup. It was excellent.

I was looking for something and we struck gold. Great food and a little secret social hub where the cocktail culture there is redolent of the intimate atmospheres of prohibition.
