Located at 101 West St. Charles Road in west suburban Lombard, the origin of Babcock's Grove House can be traced to 1858 when the property was built as a hotel and constructed of hand hewn limestone more than one foot thick. In an ancient structure, a really cool place. Your food is delivered after you place your order at the counter. Every server appears to enjoy cuisine and is willing to make suggestions. All of the sandwiches are tasty and fresh, and the mushroom soup is amazing. Loved they had 7 oz Little Kings! Ideal for lunch!
What an amazing place! We had lunch there with friends and the experience was absolutely wonderful. The Mushroom and Swiss Burger was nothing short of amazing! Highly recommend!!!
