We’ve eaten here many times. This was an especially good experience. We celebrate our birthdays here every year and may go once more during the year. On our last visit, we found the place to be a little tired looking. This time we were greeted warmly and seated quickly. Our server, Susan, was very good. Our chef, Alfonso, was entertaining and our food was cooked perfectly. We were approached by managers twice during our visit to check on our satisfaction. We will continue to go back.

Waitress was very rude. Snatched receipt. Forgot a drink and rice until asked. Doesn't say have a good day. Chef didn't do half of show. When the prices are high the very least that is owed to the guest is good service. From counter the gentleman didn't apologize for any wait. Had a reservation at 7 but didn't get seated till 8. Host could've apologized for the wait but instead just brushed to the side.

Seated 35 mins after reservation. Service slow. Terrible old fashioned. Stomach upset later that night when I got home. Chef was entertaining and funny as usual

We waited for over an hour past our reservation time. Be aware that just because you have a reservation does not mean you will have a table when you arrive. The service was so slow. We waited an hour then dinner took 2 hours. 3 hours for dinner is rediculous! Food is way overpriced. For the cost of dinner here, you can eat at a fine dining establishment with much better food and service!

My wife's birthday. We have 4 kids and show up 5 minutes before our reservation at 7 pm. We ended up sitting down around 7:40, I guess this is normal because the girls who sat next two us said they waited too. It was extremely crowded. We tried to order two different bottles of Chardonnay and neither was available so ended up with red wine. Ordering was difficult with language barrier but the lady was nice. Chef did a good job entertaining, food was ok though and I'd say was a little overcooked both steak and fried rice and well it's not like you are going for the food! I had put it down that is was my wife's birthday down. However, when we went to pay the check they brought it back to my wife to sign out, she had to sit with one of our kids. Instead of singing to her we ended up singing happy birthday to the girl sitting next to us but didn't acknowledge my wife. My wife's not really into that sort of thing but knowing we were there celebrating would be nice! My kids did tell her like 5 times that it was her birthday hint hint! We looked at like 4 other hibachi choices prior, so don't plan on going back.

Shrimp were really good. But, service was very slow and there was hardly anyone in the establishment at the time of our reservation. Ordered drinks that I never received, had to cancel. I would prefer the hibachi area over the dining area. The portions appear slightly bigger it seems and service is much better at the hibachi table. 2$ for a spoon of yum yum sauce too, which is free at the hibachi table. A rip off..

Holy crap, their prices went up about 35%. No joke. Like a STEEP hike. Not worth it at all anymore unfortunately. :(

I love the food at Benihana, and the service is always outstanding. The ambiance is excellent and they have so much variety now compared to the past. They are vastly improved.
