Went the other day with my boyfriend, the tacos weren’t good, don’t see the hype about them. I’m from the city I’ll stick to my regular go to spots.
It’s a really good place! They have great service and food!
This spot has excellent service as well as delightful food. My favourite place in the city. The food and drinks came out fast and the prices are fair. Highly recommended.
I've been going there since i was about 5. I love it to this day
Love this place. Perfect little Mexican restaurant with the basics. It has character and the staff are friendly. My go to order is a steak and chorizo burrito with everything.
Good tacos, I will say the best on the area
Food very very good
Very good
The worst place at world
Food needs flavor.

The Tacos are delicious. They have both hard shell and soft shell. The salsa is outstanding and the owners take the time to ensure their customers are satisfied. We go weekly for lunch.
Good, not great. The store has a bad smell that was masked by the smell of some cleaning product on the day I visited. The people were polite and friendly. Free chips and salsa we're nice to get, but the chips were kinda meh, like they weren't fresh fried on-site, but were either just bought ones from a bag or stale ones. I ordered enchiladas Verde and they were pretty good. Their sauces seemed homemade, fresh and tasty. Their refried beans were excellent. Prices were a little on the high side for what it was. Not a bad restaurant, but not a great one either.
I use to go there every week to pick up orders for several people at work, I finally decided no to go there never again, there is a kid/ young guy with the nastiest attitude ever!!!!! I think is the owners son, That kid is the cause of why that restaurant is going down, plus the have neglected the place really bad, is disgusting, dirty and on top of everything you get to see the worst attitude from a effin kid that is behind the counter, he thinks that he's doing you s favor for being there!
Best tacos in Chicagoland
Unfortunately, I don't see this restaurant being open much longer. I am a huge Torta fan and am always searching for the best Tortas. I came from Tulsa where there are plenty of delicious taco food trucks, but I have to saw these Tortas from De Allende fall short big time. I hate to say it, but their Tortas are probably the worst in the area, possibly the worst I've tasted. The one thing I liked is the bread/bun they used on the Tortas, but it went down hill from there. The meat is not seasoned at all and they provide very little ingredients. The meat seemed old/chopped up, almost like ground beef. If it's a steak Torta, it should be thin slices of marinated steak.. The most successful restaurants are generous with their ingredients have plenty of seasoning. These Tortas were very flat, plain, and dissatisfying. If you want to survive, please be generous with the lettuce, tomatoes, and avocados, and used quality seasoned steak please. You won't make enough money if your food does not improve. I would also recommend to add some radishes and grilled Jalapenos on the side. If you did that, I think you could be one of the best in the area. Please learn and improve if you want to be successful.
