Went here for my grandmas 80th birthday last night and it was the worst experience I’ve had at a restaurant in a long long time. I was thinking this was going to be a nice place to celebrate and heard good things about uncle Julio’s, but man was it just horrible and upsetting.
Maybe after the pandemic this place changed drastically or something I’m not sure 🤷🏻♀️
We ordered the table side guac, then when the server came around about 15 min later asking if we want an appetizer we asked where the guac was, his reply being oh you wanted that? 😣
The food was very bland even starting with the guacamole, after WE put in salt and salsa that helped a little bit.
Once the entree came, half of our tables food was cold! Some of us sent it back to be remade, I personally just asked for a to go box because I was over it.
It’s not like the other 2 tables in the whole restaurant was a reason for these mistakes either.
The fact that they didn’t even try to make it right or anything just was very unprofessional and embarrassing for this company. Might be time to hang it up Uncle Julio’s!

Unfortunately the service at UJ's is horrendous. Absolutely unprofessional and incompetent. They have always been ht or miss regarding service. They hate carry out. If you aren't buying drinks forget about getting good service. If you dare to do curbside expect some of the worst service in the industry. It's not just this location. It's all UJ's locations.
Maybe they are trying to make you dine in I don't know. This isn't the first time you see. This has been happening for 20 years. People tolerate it because the fajitas are really good.
I have been stories over the years regarding this company. Today's experience was just another one. I used to come 3 to 4 times per month. Now I frequent their restaurant twice per year maximum. I recommend choosing another place for a family gathering. Or if you are eating alone I would say skip this place as well. It's just not worth it.

I loved this place! Food was great and excellent service! Went to celebrate my son's bday and ordered the piñata. Everything was delicious and fun!. Can wait to go back.

Love the fresh taste of table guacamole!!! We were there to celebrate my husband's birthday and he got his usual steak fajita and it's delicious as usual!
Even though we had a reservation, we were stuck at a table right next to the kitchen. It was very crowded and it took a while for our server to keep returning to our table. The food was ok, but not good enough to go back and deal with the crowds and the noise.

The experience was unfavorable from the beginning. I made reservations at 7:45 and arrived at 7:25. I was told that they were running behind but when asked how long, hostess did not know. I asked again at 7:45 and received same answer. There was very little space to wait, which happens time to time when a restaurant is busy. The disturbing thing was that the location where servers were retrieving silverware was in same area and it was not appealing. Once we sat down the waitress came and she was kind and helpful. However the restaurant was cold so we could not remove our jackets. We ordered table made guacamole. The attendant was shy but did a very good job. However the chips that were brought to the table were cold and the silverware was not very clean. The Guac was good and my vegetable fajita was good. The rice was cold and over cooked and the corn tortillas were falling apart. The black beans were good. Overall the food was decent but combined with look and feel of the restaurant the experience was not favorable. I think this may have been my last visit.

I brought my family here to celebrate my husbands birthday . Although we hears good reviews about this place it was not for us and this will be our first and only visit to uncle Julios. The place was extremely loud my son wanted to leave and he's a ten year old because of the loudness. I did not see anything special abolitionist this place or the food 175$ for a family of four we could of went to local taco stand for 30$ and been happier.

I posted a picture of me hiting the Chocolate Pinata and all my FaceBook friends wanted to know where this was. I think have the food cooked immediately before it is served is the highlight of dining there. Excellent tortillas still puffy from the grill. Our wait person was Judd and he took care of all our needs.

We had a great time! The food was very good! The Chocolate pinata was a big hit!! The tables are a little close to each other and its very loud in there, we didn't mind as we are loud too!!!
