Nice service and great fries but do NOT order the crab cakes. They were obviously frozen, imitation krab, that had no flavor. The hollandaise didn’t have much flavor either so there was no saving it. I would go back and try again, just not the crab cakes.

The restaurant was super nice, as well as the service. However the portion size for the price us a bit disappointing. I can go to another cozy breakfast place pay less and get twice as much hearty food.

Been here a good number of times, as they were named Fountain Inn Cafe, but changed name but not owner. I had a taste for First Watch, but was closed on New Year's Day. Went with plan B, I walked in and wasn't acknowledged by hostess. All of a sudden she is helping the person that came in behind me? I asked for a booth and the hostess handed the menu to the buss person who attempted to sit me at a table. I pointed to the open booth. I had to ask for coffee and water. Eventually the server showed up but was MIA until he cleared my plate and left the bill. Sat there 15 minutes for change but he never showed up. First time in a long time I didn't tip over 20%. They also charge an additional 3% to use a credit card. With their high prices, this seems out of line. $14 for a half waffle combo? Never got a refill on water or coffee.

Not too many times do I go to a restaurant and am surprised with the quality of the food and for a great price at that! The staff are very nice and you can tell the owners, Sergio and Steve, really care about their business. 10/10 all around!!

Rarely in the western burbs, but decided to visit this well-reviewed spot on a recent visit. I was hopeful...

Alas, the food was just okay. The patty melt wasn't really a true patty melt, it was just a cheeseburger assembled on rye bread; the accompanying breaded fries tasted only like seasoning.

Breakfast items were a tad better: the corn beef hash was good, but the portion was small. Pancakes were okay. The eggs were cooked perfectly tho.

Hard to say bad things about this place. Breakfast food was excellent as I had the biscuits and gravy… only because I was craving as it’s not my typical go to…recommend this place for sure.

I have too many favorites. The BerryLicious crepes, waffle, and French toast are awesome. They are topped with sweetened cream cheese sauce, berries, and pecans. The omelets are large and delicious. I appreciate being able to order fruit instead of potatoes. I like the paninnis for lunch. Lentil soup is excellent. The wait staff is terrific. Return customers are recognized and everyone is made to feel welcome.
