I’ve always had great experiences here up until recently. Our waitress (I don’t know her name because she never introduced herself to us) was incredibly cold, short, and even rude towards us from the moment she got to our table to the moment we left. I have no idea why. It was different than someone just having a bad day; it genuinely felt like we were a burden just by being there. I thought maybe I was just being sensitive, but once we left, my friends said they felt the exact same way.

Never had an experience like this at any restaurant before, it was so uncomfortable. Giving 2 stars instead of 1 to give some credit for our past visits, but sadly we have no desire to come back anymore.

Where do I start….
I came here with my family for my son’s birthday breakfast. He wanted to sit outside. The hostess said we can’t sit outside because it’s reserved for people with dogs. After we got sat inside, two tables without dogs were sat.
Nobody came to our table for 15-20min. I had to go to the hostess and ask to get a server. Then when the server finally came he was confused taking a simple order. Our food came and we still had not gotten our drinks. We asked the waiter for our drinks and he just kept saying “I’m sorry we are behind,” but the restaurant was NOT busy….. then he asked for our drink order again and was confused once again which doesn’t make sense since he put the order in his handheld. so my husband canceled his drink order and I eventually got me tea but didn’t get the honey.🤦🏻‍♀️ I had to go up to the hostess stand to ask for honey. finally it came time for our check and the waiter was nowhere to be found. I returned to the hostess stand to ask for our check…

This was a great place to eat! We tried it yesterday, during our trip, and were throughly pleased with it all. The restaurant looks great, service was fast, and the food was delicious. I’d recommend this to others.

We had such a great experience at Honeyberry Breakfast Restaurant! The food was fresh, flavorful, and came out quick. You can tell they actually care about quality — everything tasted homemade and perfectly cooked. The portions were generous, and the menu had a lot of good options to choose from.
The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the whole place had a clean, relaxed vibe that made it easy to just sit and enjoy your meal. Definitely one of those spots you can keep going back to. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a solid breakfast place!

The place has high ceilings. It makes it feel open, safe. Everyone is in a good mood. Problems disappear. The food is good, prompt, hot, and tasty. No complaints about anything. Good times.

I travel to Chicago twice a year from SoCal for fighting game events (shoutouts to Combo Breaker and Frosty Faustings). I've been to the Honey Berry once every year that I'm here for Frosty and I love it every time.

Food was good. Service was outstanding! But why do you seat people at the front of the restaurant and have both doors wide open on a freezing day? Maybe close the door nearest to the outside doors? Add heaters? Don’t seat that section?

Slow service and not enough heating, we were cold inside!

For a long time local favorite, I am completely baffled why this business would try to pass off AI garbage as what their dishes look like when we KNOW the food looks delicious and tastes just as good. Disgusting and dishonest practice; we're making a different cafe our regular brunch spot and won't be giving this one our business again. If you can't even use real pictures of your food, I can only imagine what else you're cutting corners on.

Bland, mid food. Its no wonder they have to use AI generated pictures of their food, nothing they made could look that good. Don’t bother and go to a good restaurant.

Lansing location for breakfast. Food was mediocre - eggs underdone, some veggies with an inedible texture, skillet smelled like Hamburger Helper. Coffee was awful. EXTREMELY overpriced - family of 4 with 2 littles paid nearly $100 for simple breakfast items. Ambiance is a failed attempt at city vibes. Booth was not secured to floor & unstable. But service was friendly & attentative. I have never left a negative review of a local business, but our experience was really disappointing.
