Make sure to CHECK THE EXPIRATION DATE. Two products I bought from here on TWO SEPARATE OCCASIONS were EXPIRED more than 2 months past the expiration date. Additionally, one of those items had been tampered with- there was chemicals in it that made me SICK and I had to go to the hospital. If you can, AVOID SHOPPING HERE AT ALL COSTS.

Jewel stores have been a part of the suburbs as long as I can remember. The store is clean and practices good safety and health protocols. Shelves are well stocked with a good variety and the staff is friendly

I went into this jewel to shop and when I got to self service to check out I asked for assistance. So this Asian guy walks up to help me because my items werent coming off at the register so he was getting loud with me in front of everyone saying that he gave me a $1:00 off when it should have been more money off so then he suspends my transaction then he start telling me I don't have enough money so I started putting stuff back and when I looked into my account to see my balance I did have enough money to buy everything and he calls his self the assistant store manager I think his behavior towards a customer( myself) needs to get him a few days off until he learns how to talk to customers. I used to work as a cashier for jewel and when a customer complained to the district manager I got my hours cut and this Asian wanna be says he's in a top position "unbelievable".

The Front end manger need to be changed ASAP, he dont know how to mange the store at all , the front end manger i saw the other day stocking the candy infront of the customer service while he saw me but ignored to help me while i was at the desk waiting till some young lady helped me out , the only thing that i like the store is because i see some cashiers know what there doing better than the mangment and im greatful for them espically a young gentleman on self checkout who's always happy to help and i see him smiling and serving the customers with a smile , and other checker's too.

I was at this store checking out today in the self checkout there was a girl with pinkish hair there who wasn’t of age for liquor as I heard her calling for someone to approve the liquor I believe it was the front end manager who was screaming at her for not being of age. Personally I don’t believe someone should be yelled at like that for not being a certain age and certainly not in front of the customers like that either . This was a very disappointing checkout experience I will not be shopping in this store any longer.

I had the worst experience at this jewel I visit here often, and I have not had any issues but the cashier I had today 7/13/24 on register 5 named Jake is very rude. Not once did he great me, nor acknowledge that I was there. He just started ringing up my items and put them in the bag. He left all my bags on the counter and I proceeded to put them in my cart I didn’t think the you g man could talk , when I would look up at him he would be staring at me like I had the plague. The only time he said anything was when he told me my total. No thank you , no hello nothing. And yes I am African American and I know when someone does not like being around people of color. I didn’t want to cause a scene but I was boiling when I left. I’m just pray for him and myself because it’s taking everything in me not to go back to the store and get in his line again. Customer service training is needed for him and if he has a problem with other nationalities he should be in the back doing stock where he doesn't have to be disgusted.

Lady with long red hair in a pony tail and wears glasses is super rude. Always on her phone too. The deli department.. I ordered a lb of lunch meat just to get home and find out I wasted 10$ on the WRONG meat because the lady was careless and sliced a completely different ham. The label was correct but I know my boars head Burbon ridge ham!! Made my work sandwiches for the week disgusting never ate it fed it to my dogs. Get better employees who actually care. Not just hide from cameras and chit chat on their damn cellphones.

Was short .55 cents on my order told the guy running self checkout at 2:15pm on 7/24/24 that I had to run to my car to get change because I was a little short. He made me cancel my whole order because it was “too busy” there was no line… he was extremely rude and you could tell he hates his job. I had my 3 year old with me and the last thing I wanted to do was shop all over again for my order. From now on I will give my business elsewhere like Aldi down the road, way friendlier service and better prices. Jewel sucks!!

I'm very impressed with the huge collection of toys, vegetables, drinks etc ...the hot wheels selection was impressive ☺️ also the fruits here are amazing ...fruits from California? Rambutan from Indonesia...nice
