Stay away. I should have known better. Conveyor belt didn't feel cold enough. Philedephia roll looked brown. Someone in my group ate some of the coconut pudding and it had mold on it. We were disgusted. Ruined our meal. Would only take a small amount off our bill. Never going back.

Not very good. Everything had a film on it. Very little new items came out on the belt while we were there for an hour. Grabbed one item that had clearly been on there for hours as the avocado turned dark brown.

Best sushi spot I've gone to as a vegetarian, 3 pretty tasty avocado rolls for $10 is a fantastic deal. Only thing I wasn't crazy about was their soy

They followed my special instructions well, long story short I have a allergy and they accommodated me, packaged my things nicely and I’d say the rolls are well priced.

Not the fanciest or best sushi, but always get warm and friendly service. It's a fun place to grab sushi with the kids!

Unfortunately, this is simply massed produced mediocre sushi that is served by a robot. I was kind of shocked to be able to see in the kitchen where the kitchen staff is taking pre-made items out of bags to reheat (if needed) and serve. It's not great, but certainly not the worst experience. Just different...

This place is actually very cute and the staff is attentive and friendly. My problem with this restaurant is quality and freshness... Food sits on the belt for a very long time and it shows :( Although there are lots of workers around and people in the kitchen making food, I picked up a plate of rotten sushi. I will not be coming back for this reason sadly. The desserts were good I will say that.

This restaurant is really good. It was cool being able to choose the food off the conveyer belt. The food was delicious. The shrimp tempura was really good. The crab Rangoon was great. The shrimp fried rice was delicious. For dessert, the mini cheesecakes were awesome. My only complaint is that I never got my fried calamari. But no biggie. I will definitely be back here.

It was my first time trying Kai sushi, the food was average nothing special but decent. I ordered a smoothie about halfway through my meal and they did not deliver it until after I paid the check and was on my way out the door. I took one sip of the smoothie and spit it out it tasted like rancid milk. I re entered the restaurant and very politely asked to swap out the smoothie for a soda. I was very apologetic and I never return food unless it literally inedible. The waitress was understanding and helpful. However she had to ask her manager, the manager was extremely disrespectful to both myself and her own coworkers. She grabbed the full smoothie out of my hand and threw it in a dirty dishes bin being held by a worker, spilling some of it on the floor and the dishwashers had to clean it up. If that wasn’t enough I asked to see a list of the Japanese sodas to try and she sighed loudly rolled her eyes and stomped over to grab a menu for me. She walks back shoves the menu at me and asks what I wanted, then attempted to point out which drink I wanted when the manager pushes the menu into my chest and actually PHYSICALLY SHOVES me out of her way. She walks out of the kitchen with 2 bowls of soups and serves it to a table. The waitress and I were both Standing there in shock and disbelief. Eventually the waitress took my order and apologized. I kept my cool and did not make a scene but I have never been treated so disrespectfully by a restaurant employee, especially after being served sub par food. The food was okay but after the way I was treated I will definitely not be returning, there are plenty of better sushi restaurants in the area with better customer service and atmosphere. Also the restaurant and dishes/silverware were generally unclean and all of the workers seemed to be anxious and over worked likely due to poor management.

I would agree that the quality has declined. That coupled with the price increases, you are probably better off going to an AYCE sushi place however this place is great for a very light lunch ( 3 small plates will probably run you $15- $20 now), and it's usually quick if the roll you want is actually on the rotary!

The spicy salmon color was kryptonite. The only thing that was worth going is the young customer service which was pretty attentive. The food was mediocre but the portion was good. The atmosphere makes the place looks so ghetto.

Been coming here way before pandemic and it was great. BUT, now I have to take this place off my favorites list. I noticed the decline in quality when I came back after the pandemic. Since then it left a big question mark for me. Since I was in the area I decided to give this place another shot. Thinking maybe last time was just some fluke. But the moment I sat down I knew nothing has changed and it has even gotten worse. There was nothing on the conveyer belt but signs and fortune cookies. They had a couple of rolls that was pretty obvious that nobody wanted and had sat on the belt for hours. The waitress brings over a menu in which I’m even too disappointed to ask if they were even going to restock the belt. I didn’t even eat! I just watched my family ate a couple items they ordered; as I was antsy to leave. They even lied to us about the gratuity. Of all the places I’ve dined at, if I have a party of 5 or more, it was made pretty clear before you walk in about the gratuity charges or it is posted all over there menus. But not this place. When asked, the waitress states its on there website. Which is NOT! I wouldn’t be surprise if it gets added on after this review. Nevertheless, will never come back, and will not recommend.
