We visited Saturday morning and were seated immediately and recieved great. Friendly service. Food was fantastic, pancakes were some of the best I've ever had, housemade sausage gravy, and everything tasted like it was made the old fashioned way. Will absolutely be coming back to try the lunch menu soon!

I'm not one to write bad reviews but I will never go back to this place. I called in and ordered 2 kids grilled cheeses to go. When I went in to pick up the food, the owner went out of her way to come up to me before taking my payment and said, "I want to make sure only kids are eating this" excuse me what?!?! What's is to you if I order something off your menu and how is it your problem who eats it? You should be lucky you're getting business & yes it was for a kid. Wont be coming back lol what an idiot

Ordered to pick up. Was ready pretty fast, but the only complaint I have is that the food melted through the container. Other than that was delicious and will definitely come back. I just don't know if I will get it to go because of it melting through. Maybe they can line the container with foil?

This is a breakfast and lunch place in the heart of Lombard. I live just a couple of blocks from the place. This is the favorite place of my family for breakfast. The place is clean and service is great. The owner is always there and watches over everything to make sure customers are satisfied. They have a 2+2+2+2 breakfast special that is my favorite. It comes with 2 eggs, 2 sausages, 2 strips of bacon and 2 pancakes. It is not only breakfast, it is also lunch. If you live in Lombard or close to this place, you should try it. We need to support of local businesses, especially those that offer good service and quality goods.

My husband and I have enjoyed fantastic breakfasts at Main Street Cafe but this was our first lunch meal. The special was a bacon, mushroom and swiss cheese Alpine burger - absolutely generous and scrumptious at a reasonable price, accompanied by a dill spear, and the most delicious french fries! (Real potatoes used here, folks - not greasy, really fresh!) I had ordered a substitute of fresh fruit - also good, but next time I'm keeping the fries! (I had tasted my husband's fries!) Excellent!

I've been here for breakfast twice now. The employees are all friendly and the food came out fast. Good overall american breakfast menu and the food has been consistent so far. I'd recommend for a causal breakfast spot.

First time here. The atmosphere is nice, attracts more of an older crowd. Staff was nice but our waitress didn't make all that good of an impression. Menu is decently priced & food is good.
